  • How to do a perfect V-Jelq

This is my attempt at explaining what for me has worked very well. The v is obviously one of the hardest concepts to get down for some of us. The following is my opinion and I will try to explain why I do it the way I do. Since this is my opinion, others will probably disagree. What I am writing certainly isn't written in stone, so take, change or leave out whatever you want. I am going to literally start at the beginning and work my way through it, explaining things as if I was talking to someone who had no concept of how to do it.

    1) Lube your shaft throughly, and moisten your hands and shaft. Keep your shaft lubed throughout the routine and your hands moistened.
    2) Do these standing up.
    3) Pretend you are holding a softball and are about to pitch it. Your palm is facing upwards with the ball in it. Your fingers are curled up so that you can hold the ball. Your hand is down by your side. Now magically make the ball disappear without moving your hand! Your palm is still facing up, your fingers are out front away from your body, and still curled upwards.
    4) Without moving anything else, rotate your wrist 180 degrees inward so that your fingers are now closest to your body. Your fingers are still curled upwards and your palm is also still facing upwards.
    5) Slightly bend over your unit (I also bend my legs a little bit). By bending over you are giving yourself maximum access to the very base of your shaft, more so than if you would be sitting or standing straight up (this is one of those "In my opinion moments").
    6) Now move you hand in front of your unit and cup your wrist (slightly bend your hand upwards in other words). Split your index and middle finger (your index finger is next to your thumb) and slide your shaft between them. Two things here: 1) bury your shaft as far as you can down into the webbing of your fingers; and 2) push those fingers as deep into your pubic bone as you can.

At this point I need to explain the cupping of your wrist part before some of you hurt yourself scratching your head saying, "What the hell is he talking about, and why should I do that!!??" At this point you are bent over your unit with your legs slightly bent also. By cupping your wrist as you grab your unit, and by being bent over you will be able to apply more pressure than if you just grabbed it standing straight up or lying down. In addition, like I mentioned earlier, bending over makes it easier to grab your unit at its very base better.

    7) After you have done all of the above, begin to stand up straight, but don't begin jelqing yet. The reasons for this are: 1) gives you a second to get your grip fully implemented; and 2) makes the jelqing motion go more uniformly. Too often people when doing v's grab and start jelqing instantly before they have fully locked down onto their shaft, then they begin applying more pressure as they proceed up it. One of the keys to a good jelq is that you apply the same pressure all the way up, or over time you could find the base of your unit thinner than the area right above it.
    8) Now jelq toward the base of your glans, pulling your shaft straight up toward your bellybutton. All of your pressure should be directed towards the sides of your shaft. The whole purpose of the v's is to increase the size of your corpus cavernosums which are located on the sides of your unit.
    9) When you reach the base of your glans pull your unit out straight and hold it there while you grab your shaft with your other hand. Pulling your unit out straight helps a little bit in avoiding pulling your pubic hairs.
    10) Repeat steps 5 thru 9.

The true test in my opinion of how effective a job you are doing is by how hard your glans gets as you approach it. Hard is good, soft is not so good. I do a set of v's, followed by a set of UJ's, then repeat this two more times. While I am doing a v with my left hand, I flex my right hand's fingers so they don't cramp up. I do alternate sets so that I can give them a chance to rest and recuperate for the next set. Do more sets if you want, but keep the number per set reasonable. Sure you could try and do 100 or more v's straight, but I absolutely guarantee you that your finger strength will have diminished from the first one to the last. The other problem with doing too many in a row is that you will start to get lazy or lose your concentration. By alternating it helps to keep your mind focused. If you alternate between v's and regular jelqs, you flex your fingers, and you keep the number per set reasonable, your first to your last v should be equally effective. If your glans is soft when you reach it, you have pretty much wasted that jelq. Numbers are not as important as quality. Now numbers and quality is really where it's at!!!

I take it you are referring to my description of bending over your unit. Simply bend over a little at your waist while holding your pecker straight out. What this does is better expose the base of your unit making it a little easier to insert your v grip down there with your fingers. I also suggest not starting to jelq until you then stand back up straight. This gives you a second to make sure that you are applying full pressure prior to the jelq, and doing so for the entire length of your shaft. If you start to jelq before you have done this, valuable blood that you should be pushing toward your glans will escape, making the jelq less effective, maybe substantially so. Our fingers aren't very strong, so you have to give them a sec to push down for their maximum strength. Finger strength is perhaps the biggest drawback to v-jelqs, and that is why if things aren't done properly, you often find people saying that v's just don't seem to work for them. It is also important that you keep flexing your fingers to keep them loose. Next time you do some v's, I bet you will find you hold your non jelqing hand's fingers curled up just waiting for its turn. That means you are keeping them tense, and tense equates to fatigue.

Let me reiterate, the above description is mine, and it has worked for me, but that doesn't mean it is the best way to do these. However, I am into these bad boys big time, and by doing them the way I described, I believe it is at least as good as any other method, but I also believe for me it is the best way. These V's and my UJ's are the absolute central core of my PE activity. I am not into weights and stretchers, so finding the best way to manually increase girth has been critical for me.

When I perform the v jelq up towards my bellybutton I seem to take a lot of skin with it. So my skin bunches up at my glans. Is there something I'm doin wrong with this. Or is it viable to hold the scrotum down with the opposite hand to keep the skin from rising?

Read my description of the UV. It is substantially more effective and easier to do: https://www.pegym.com/forums/penis-e...te-vs-uvs.html . I don't consider this an advanced exercise, you completely control how tightly you squeeze your fingers together.

It is better than a regular V-jelq, a regular jelq is different.

To rbi99: the V/ UV jelq is for girth gains, not length, correct? How would you modify this to ONLY give increases in girth for the bottom of the shaft? (base to midshaft). For example, would ending the jelq at midshaft be effective? Or perhaps reverse jelqing, only squeezing the top portion of the shaft (so as to force blood into the bottom of the shaft)?

On a side note, not too sure if anybody can answer this, but:

how does expanding the CC work? are you stretching the tissue or building more tissue? How is this possible, given that it's a spongy body, not a muscle (like your bicep)? I am just scared of "breaking down" the CC by jelqing and then having them not rebuild.

                              Thanks!
