    I am a 27 year old male and have not had any sexual relations until recently(yeah, I know this sucks). Four months ago, I got into a relationship with this woman of my dreams - extremely sexy with an hourglass figure. My first few attempts at having sex were a complete disaster as I just could not get it up. I thought it to be performance anxiety and consoled myself. My gf has been very supportive which is great. But all through the last 4 months, I have lacked the confidence to attempt intercourse. I do get it up on occasions when she dresses up sexily, etc, but it wanes too quickly. Also, I have not had a morning wood in several years. I started masturbating at age 15 years. Unfortunately, I got into the habit of doing it quickly, even ejaculating when I was not fully erect. And in the months leading up to the time I started seeing my gf, I was masturbating between 3-5 times per day. Also, I never used to get excited over actual sex, but over sexy photographs and other such stupid fantasies.

    I really desperately do not want to lose my girl. I love her very much. Any help by you guys will be hugely appreciated.

    Tell me -- before you met your girlfriend, were you watching a lot of porn when masturbating? That seems to cause ED problems in some guys due to desensitization. Check out these threads:

        Well, if those fantasies are too vivid and not as exciting as a real girl, then maybe it is a comparable problem. Did you read the threads?

        Also, for general penis health and good erections, a lot of guys find that PE -- especially kegels -- can help a huge amount. Have you read up on those?

          Hey there dickhard.
          first off you should definatly read the ED section of this forum, lots of great stuff to help you out.
          One thing that helped me out was edging, practise edging 3 times a week and you should start seeing results in a few weeks.
          as batwoman said, kegels are great , they really help alot just dont over do it or you dick will be to tired to rise to the occasion.
          Once you get you EQ back up maby start up a beginer routine, that will help you further with you erections and maby help you get a bigger dick
          There are also lots of natural supplements listed in this forum to help with erections and overall body health, just take a look around and youll find everthing you need.

            I did read the threads. I do not think it is a comparable problem as my girl is better than the fantasies (which were not all that vivid in the first place)!! I strongly feel that the problem is due to my excessive masturbation with poor technique. I did read up on Kegels and have done it for the past month (though inconsistently). Is there anything else I can do to help the situation?

                  Be careful with erect kegels. If you strain to hard while doing erect kegels you risk losing erectile function for a few days. This happened to me, I got myself hard through masturbation and then did erect kegel raises with as much force as possible, figuring it was similar to weight lifting. I even tried lifting a towel with my erections to the point of exhaustion. The result was I couldnt get hard for an entire day, it just killed my erection ability. After making the same mistake three or four times I realized it was super intense kegels that cause the ED. I only reccommend light kegels now based on my own experience. The human body is designed to respond well sexually to pleasure, not strain.
                  My goal here is to provide ideas and insight on methods for improving or eliminating mild erectile dysfunction.

                    Thanks a lot guys for the prompt replies. Thanks Batwoman for the links. I was not doing Kegels while erect. I practiced holding my pee during midstream several times, and then started doing the Kegels using a similar contract relax. Is this the correct method?

                      if your dick is able to "jump" while you contract then your doing it right
