I found this information on the web:
"Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa is a lichen said to be a true herbal version of Viagra. Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa naturally contains the substances 4-Methylpiperazine and Pyrazolo Pyrimidin-7-1, the two main components of Viagra."
"Its active constituents Epiditiopiperazinedione/4-Methylipiperazines have been proven very effective for Phosphodiesterase-V inhibition, or PDE-5 inhibition. The Chinese have used the seeds of Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa for over 1,000 years to extend the duration of an erection."
"The acid additive salts of pyrazolopyrimidinone derivatives have more prominent efficacy on the treatment of impotence than sildenafil. The selectivities for phosphodiesterase-6 and phosphodiesterase-3 are much better than those of sildenafil, reducing the side effects such as visual disorders or cardiovascular disorders."
Many of the herbal mixes contain 25mg. Probably not enough. Those products also contain Yohimbe, which is probably what makes them work. There are some pure Xanthoparmelia extracts available containing 1/2 gram per capsule. That might do it. Has anybody tried it?
