  • Maybe not physical ED after all?

I seriously thought I might have ED since I can't quite hold an erection for more than a few seconds without touching myself... However, the more I think about it, the more I think it might not be physical ED since I CAN get 100% erection when stimulating myself a lot.

I'm saying this but I'm not sure. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think physical ED prevents from getting any erection at all right? So if I can have one, the problem is not physical, no matter how hard it is to get? I've started PE a week ago and don't see any improvement yet, but I guess it's normal.

I still sincerely hope PE will help. Kegels and jelqs might help me build stronger muscles and help me maintain erections for long time? I'm so confused. I edged for 25 minute yesterday. I have no problem staying erect while masturbating, but as soon as I let go of my dick, I got flaccid. Same goes with a girl. Just taking out and putting a condom is too long, I'm semi-erect by the time I'm ready to get back to business.

What do you guys think? I've seen too many pornos with guys staying 100% erect for minutes without any physical contact... how do they do it? Is my mental too weak? Or is it really physical? Or both?

Thank you a lot for your help people.

as far as porn stars some of them take "performance enhancing drugs". i was starting to have the exact same problem as you near the beggingin of the year and it slowly got worse. in my case though it was just my thyroid. after a brand switch im slowly getting back to the way i was before. it could very well be phsycolgical but there is a chance that it could be a medical condition. try not to be too stressed about it and if it doesnt eventually clear up get yourself checked out. there are many things that could be causing it if thats the case.

        Thank you guys.

pb27, I've been like this for many years so if there's a chance that it's physical, I probably should get checked indeed. But who should I go see? Any doctor or a urologist? I'm afraid that if I go see a urologist with the only symptom being weak erections he's gonna simply tell me that it's psychological. If I go see a doctor, what do you tell them to get them to check you? How did you know that it was your thyroid and what's the treatment? Did you have any surgery?

        Thx again.

just go see your normal doctor. tell them you have problems getting and maintaining an erection. there are many factors that can cause it such as thyroid, diabetes, low testosterone, etc... and i believe all of those are a simple blood test. as far as thyroid there is no surgery, just have to take a replacement hormone and its not really expensive. good luck, i know it sucks dealing with it til you have an answer. my doctor gave me a free prescription of cialis while my levels get back to normal.
