  • Asparagus

On Dr.Oz today he stated that asparagus was 'the best' food for healthy sexual functioning in men. Pumpkin seeds ranked high also. I've never eaten asparagus, but think I'll give it a taste test,ha.

I love asparagus. Pick the thinner ones they tend to be less woody. If they don't snap easy I don't use 'em. Pan fried with a little olive oil and lemon pepper is a good starter, they cook really fast like one to two minutes. Oh, and you should be warned, it will make your pee smell real funky, like swamp water or something, but just for a couple pisses.

The Ayurvedic term for asparagus is Safed Musli. It is used as an herbal aphrodisiac.

Stinky pee for sure! But, since this is the case, who knows what ELSE it affects "down there", must be good, right?

Actually not. Ayurvedic term for asparagus (Asparagus racemosa) is Shatavari. It is related to the other plants in the asparagus family.

Safed Musli however is not asparagus at all. Its scientific name is Chlorophytum borivilianum, and the whole plant is edible. It is used as a leaf vegetable, and its roots are a male aphrodisiac. The plants from the Chlorophytum family are common house plants. I also have one Chlorophytum growing in my living room. You can look up Chlorophytum in Wikipedia for photos and detsails.
