Hello,
I have a grade 3 varicocele, on the left. I'll have my surgery (microscopic subinguinal) next week and I'm highly concerned. My urologist said the varicose veins won't retract, even after the varicocele will be treated. The problem is that my varicocele is quite large, I have a sack of worms as big as a nut. It's visible and it's very depressing to know it will be there for the rest of my life..
Can anyone who had a large varicocele please tell me how his testicles looked like after 3 months or half of year? Are the veins still swollen and visible as before? Did the doctor say they will ever retract?
