I'm not really understanding the hanging routine. I see there is an explanation of what to do on each week, but I would need to clarify whether those tasks are completed over the whole week, or every day of the week. Also, you mention you should't take too many rest days but you don't say how many rest days should be taken in the first place.
This info must be available somewhere, could anyone please share?
If it's any help, I do not take any days off. For 'rest days' I simply do a much lighter routine. 'rest days' are dictated by monitoring my PIs and not a set schedule.
Best advice I can give you is .... avoid clamp / compression style hangers. They promote excessive foreskin pull and growth. There's no amount of wrap you can use to avoid it.
Yeah. They do bad things for skin quite easily. I hanged through burning sensation thinking it was gains coming. It was fucking skin tearing. Stretch marks and more loose skin as result.

Talk to Dr. Richard Howard.... he was a BiB user, and what you describe are classic symptoms that he constantly experienced and then he tried the LG Hanger and never went back to the BiB.

I'll third this.. I had what I thought was going to be a permanent skin bruise and darkening on the bottom of my shaft from the Malehanger (Basically the same as a BIB).. It took 2 years to go away from 1.5 years of hanging with it.. I also ended up with a lump on the top at the edge of the Coronal Ridge.. This is why I stopped and went to the LG in the first place..

Maybe yall/they just weren't using it/them right. I've been using my bib for about 3 weeks now. The 1st week was uncomfortable because I was impatient and not doing it right. The 2nd week it got better this 3rd week I have been perfectly fine. I've even made small noticeable gains from it my wife has noticed it too. And I hang every other day for 2 20 minute sessions.
3 weeks of every other day = 1.5 week of 2x 20 min sets.
This means you have not had enough exposure to compare your experience to what theirs most likely is.
That said, I've been hanging with a compression hanger (Captn Wench) every day (3 sets on average) for a little over a year now and I have experienced no bruising or discoloration. Only some skin stretch. No other issues at all.
I'm not sure how mechanically different Bib/Malehanger is to my Wench.

Thats your opinion just like I stated mine. I know my 1st week I had bruising and spots where I clamped wrong and it left all kinds of markings. Now I don't get any of that. The only reason I go every other day now for 2 29 minute sessions is because I have a very busy life outside of this. However I'm sure that if I did it every day for even more sets I would be fine just like the countless others that also seem to have no problem with bib hangers and hangers that clamp/compress.

I'm sure you will eventually experience problems when going up weight.
Bib himself admits that he has totally discolored cock and that it's scary looking. And statements like "cock should not be pretty".
In my hanging experience, Bib hanger (hardcore) and discomfort are synonymous. I have gained 0.5 inches in BPEL using the Big hanger sporadically for a few years, however the reason I couldn't hang consistently was due to discomfort when going up in weight (above 10 lbs). It basically depends on how much discomfort a person can tolerate while hanging, some people have a higher threshold than others and can hang up to 20 lbs for more than 20 minutes. I was able to hang 20 lbs with Bib hanger and at times did 40 minute sets just because I hated the discomfort I felt at the beginning of the set, it would usefully take 3 to 5 minutes to subside once hanging. My intention isn't to speak ill of Bib hanger, it's a wonderful device for hanging and I'm sure there are people using it without feeling any discomfort whatsoever. I just wanted to share my experience of using it.
I haven't seen Blink update the Hanging 101 doc since 2012 - did someone else take that on, or not?
I've been hanging for a month now and seeing amazing results (I'll eventually post those). One thing that I see after reading all 36 pages of this thread is people wanting examples. There's good posts on examples of how to do different things, but I came across a great post on Thunders a while back that shows how to properly wrap/squeeze/etc. before attaching your hanging device. I thought I'd share as it might help some people out:
