      I have heard good reports on www.thickwall.co.uk/pumps.htm No personal experience.
      You can get a good pump from MityVac (red steel handle like the one offered by Harbor Freight) through Amazon for $31 with free shipping in the US http://www.amazon.com/Actron-CP7830-...pd_sim_sbs_k_3. Harbor Freight offers the same pump at their retail outlets for $17 with a coupon often appearing in auto magazines.

          Yeah, I laid off the pump for a while, but I'm back using it--had a great session last night--left my flaccid chubbed and ready. I kept it at a "3" throughout the session. I made sure I pulled all my foreskin (I have so damned much loose foreskin) back so that I could focus on the shaft. My foreskin stayed retracted all night and all day today.

            I love pumping and since I put more attention back on it and started splitting the days betwwe hanging and pumping they hve both complimented each other well. I have heard and read that they shouldnt be done together so i decided to go back to the pump but not as intense as when it was my main focus for PE. I am so glad I went with an air pump.

                Daily pumping gains last upto 4 hours and then dissipate over the next few hours. After about 9 months, I had cemented EG gains of about 1/2" . On days I do not pump, my EG is 1/2" bigger than my EG was before I started pumping. I do other PE routines, but I attribute most of my girth gains to pumping. However, I have not taken a long break from pumping so I cant confirm if the gains will be lost if I stop pumping.

                  Thanks man. I guess that answers my question. I want to reach my goal and take as longs as it takes but to be honest im not trying to be pulling tugging and pumping my dick for life.

                    I agree that pumping can be a very viable method when used in conjunction with a normal routine. It has helped me gain girth and length as well as eq.

                      I spent the better part of the last 4 months hanging, pumping hardly ever for 3 months and I have no loss in girth at all.
                      If pumping is done consistently I am convinced the gains are as permanent as any form of PE.

                          I see my best "erect" length when pumping (I used quotation marks because it's not a normal erection). I'm hoping this is a good sign that will lead to erect gains. I usually only see that length increase though when I pump up a bit higher to 6 or 7 Hg.

                            My pump just arrived. I'm excited but a little scared to use it too So the things to remember are 1. Don't go over 5gh 2. Don't pump for longer than 20 mins 3.?
                            Is that all I need to know? lol
                            Any more advice for a pump virgin who going to pop his cherry with it later?

                            ps I bought an extender too. That thing looks even scarier!!!!

                              Don't go over 3inHg. Focus on working around 2 to 2.5. 3 is your red zone. Seriously. Pumping at higher pressures will not help anybody acheive anything other than to become a pump jock. If you want gains you don't need to go there.

                              You gotta listen to what I'm saying. Somebody on this forum has to listen to what I've been saying about pumping for months.

                              Ignore everything everyone else says about this for a minute:

                              Think about what you're doing from a fluid dynamics perspective. You are reducing the air pressure around your penis. Ambient air pressure is constantly pushing all over your body...except for this one part of your body inside the cyclinder where you have reduced the pressure. The result is that the ambient pressure in the room is transferred to your penis and it forces blood into your penis. That's physically what's happening.

                              So look at it like this:

                              When you reduce the pressure around your penis you are "assisting" your normal erectile function.

                              So put your fully erect penis in the cylinder, start pumping. You'll notice that it doesn't take much. You'll start to feel the pressure before it registers on your dial.

                              BE CAREFUL! Watch the guage and make sure you are reading it correctly. Most guages first reading is 2inHG, NOT 1inHG. Look carefully at your dial and count the number of hashes between 0 and 5. These guages are designed for automotive use.

                              inHg by the way is inches of mercury. This is a barometric reading. The guage is actually reading minus inches of mercury. 2 inches of mercury is equal to about 1 pound per square inch of pressure and that's being transferred to your penis, so just keep that in mind.

                              Pump up to 2inHg, and try to maintain your arousal. You want to be careful not to try to push too much blood into your penis. No straining. Just think dirty thoughts

                              REMEMBER: You are allowing the reduction in air pressure to ASSIST your normal erectile function to cause your penis to expand to a larger volume.

                              You'll see that you actually lose some of your erection inside the cylinder. Normal. You don't have to maintain a full rager. You only need to play with your arousal a little to make sure that you're getting some normal blood flow. It will take some practice.

                              DO NOT try to pump to higher levels. You don't need to. In fact it will interrupt blood flow if you do and it will start drawing lymphatic fluid (edema) which you don't really want. You're just going for as natural erection as possible inside the cylinder. You're training your penis to expand to a greater volume. You only really want to observe your penis swelling to proportions slightly larger than the size of your normal 100% erection. You'll have to play with this to get a feel for it. Think small increments.

                              Now:

                              Stay in for no more than 1 to 2 minutes. Then release the pressure and repeat. That's one set. Work up to doing 10 sets. This pulsing technique has been noted in other sources as being helpful to gains for some reason.

                              This gentle use of the pump will give you results, and you'll stay safe. Just do everything with the pump slowly, and observe carefully. The first time I used a pump it freaked me out because the cylinder fogged up and my penis turned redder than I've ever seen it. Give yourself time to get used to it. Have a towel ready, lots of lube, and know how to release the pressure using the emergency release valve.

                              !!! 10 minutes heat wrap, and some manual techniques too before going in the cylinder.

                              A lot of guys think they need to pump to 5inHG or even higher. They do so at great risk if you ask me. They are also probably not starting with a full erection. So they are using a different technique and also inducing a state of edema which is undesirable and unnecessary.

                              Hope this helps. I know this post is unorganized. Sorry but I'm scrambled right now.

                                Definitely don't go over 5hg. Go check out Gyrta's log, he just got a pump and in my opinion used it correctly considering his inexperience. Definitely don't go above 2-3 hg for the first week or so, and I personally wouldn't go over 10 minutes at first. You could probably do 2 sets or so if you feel up to it, and build from there throughout the first week or so.

                                Right now I'm pumping for 2, thirty minute sets each day, at about 5 hg. Don't even think about doing anything like that. Pumping is not like anything else you've ever done, but it is fucking awesome!
