    Hi guys,

    After some recent sexual encounters where I couldn't finish from penetrative sex, I've decided to change my routine and habits to fix this.

    Obviously the first one is NO PORN. Simple.

    The second thing I want to stop doing is edging. I find edging reduces my sensitivity (although I'm still not convinced I do edging right)

    I've been pumping for a while and I was wondering if pumping's benefits overlap that of edging, in that they both fill the penis with blood. Isn't that the only reason for edging? (Obviously pumping expands the penis greatly which couldn't be achieved with edging)

    Lol all edging is, is masturbation without cumming haha, really no way to do it incorrectly. You just stop when you feel the Point Of No Return (PONR) coming on. I feel edging reduces my sensitivity, but it's really not that, it just the fact that I can hold out an ejaculation for longer, not sensitivity loss. Because once that PORN is near, it is no different than before edging, or even before PE in a matter of fact.

    Well, to my understanding, edging is more for helping people with premature ejaculation, by allowing them to get more used to holding PORN in, and training the penis to get used to not cumming right when it feels the need to. Basically, it allows you to hold an ejaculation in longer.

    For gains? Edging is seen to help gains because (this is true especially right after a PE session) the penis is full of blood (due to the erection) and therefore it has more nutrients repairing what happened in the PE session. This allows faster gains in a sense. Also, edging can help because it encourages a really high erection level when holding off ejaculation. I guess it gets the penis used to a very high erection quality.
    Gains so far: +2 BPEL and +1.2 EG !

      They both fill the penis with blood yes, but they are very different mechanisms. Both are effective PE tools, but one does not really replace the other very well.
      I think you might be better off learning to edge properly if you want to get the specific benefits that edging gives.
      Pumping gives great expansion, but no real stimulation. If you are going to pump then be sure to use light pressure 2-3 hg to start for about 10 minutes. Read the pumping threads.

      If you would like help mastering edging we can help you with that also. If it seems to be causing you to lose sensitivity you are likely gripping too hard and not using lube. Also consider doing reverse kegels, deep flat footed squats and other stretching excersizes that target the abdominals, lower back, butt, pelvis, and thighs.

        Hands free edging i've stumbled on to. I have only started my PE, and each night after i lay in bed and proceeded to kegel squeeze my erect penis for say 3 seconds, then straight into reverse kegel, and so on, i kind of lined this up with my breath as best as i could. I dont know why i did this, but i found myself doing it and it felt great.

          Thanks a lot peeps.

          And I made a thread on this a while ago but it never really got cleared up, but when I edge, I feel the point of no return coming on every 5 seconds, so its really intense. It seems to me that guys will just masturbate really slowly and build up to the PONR over like 20-30 mins. Where's as I'm doing it every 5 seconds, it desensitizes me.

            Pumping is a passive way of achieving some of the effects of edging. It's a great way for men who have problems with erections and may not be able to edge successfully to get started training.
