  • Balancing the pelvic floor will usually help with good erections and eq. Remember a pelvic floor can be both tight and weak.

    Many guys do rk in a squat position particularly hindi squat.

    Working with a physio who does male pelvic floor work is becoming increasingly common and I have often recommended it.

    • Thanks Pagasus! Found one PF therapist locally. Seems to be mostly focused on women's issues though, but I'll give it a try and see how it goes.

      Apologies if this was previously discussed. So much great info here. Gets a little overwhelming. I appreciate the time.

            • Is it okay if i can't feel my reverse kegel?
              I just started today, but with a regular kegel i feel like i can shoot a tennis ball like 20 yards, and the reverse one i don't even feel when i put a finger on it.

              • You probably won't feel it with your finger. The purpose of a reverse kegel is to relax the muscle.

                    I’ve got the nightmareish hard flaccid and lost basically all sensitivity of my penis. I’m just starting to find all the information on here about front reverse kegels. I can’t really tell if I’m doing them right. Do you think this routine would be right for me?

                    • Should the muscles be completely relaxed when having sex? When I get an errection my muscles automatically tighten, meaning that they are hard (not as hard as when I flex them on purpose) the whole time. So my question is, should there be any difference in Pelvic Floor with and without an errection? Or is it normal that the muscles tighten a little bit (you can feel that they are harder) to maintain a good errection? I am not able to completely relax the muscles when masturbating, even with pushing and using abs to RK.

                      Nobdy? This would realy bring me into a positin where I know on what to work, even if I do not exactly know how.

                      I have been paying attention to PC/BC muscle tension the last weeks. When I am at 60/70% arousal my Pelvic Floor tightens and I have yet not found a possibility to work against that.
                      Before that level I have some IK's sometimes but since I am paying attention, I get better at surpressing them. But I haven't been able to find a way to relax the PC muscle at 60/70% arousal, so it stays "semi"-hard till ejaculation, meaning that I still can flex it more but it is definitely not soft.

                      • Any gentleman here know how to isolate and exercise the IC muscle?

                        Front kegels work more of the BC than the IC for me. I wanna train the IC specifically. The idea being that the IC holds the blood back and gives better EQ if in good shape.

                        • From memory it is a further isolation of the front kegel . At various times guys have worked it seperately but it never really caught on.

                          • I'm rather confused about this.. all my life I have needed to kegel, and needed quite a bit of friction to reach PONR. Now, it's the complete opposite. I reach PONR without doing kegels, and I don't need a lot of friction. Does this have something to do with PF balance? I also don't get IK's when PONR approaches, in which I used to before all of this. Instead I get the IK's during ejac, after the juices have already entered the cannon.

                            It's strange because before, ejac was the only really feel good pleasure that I experienced, unless I kegel'd during stimulation. Now it's the complete opposite, stimulation feels good the whole time, orgasmic, and I don't need to kegel at all. If I want to reach PONR, all I have to do is mentally let go.

                            This is too darn foreign for me, to be honest.

                                I'm thinking you may be right. I just very well may have had DE and a major loss in sensitivity, because now, it's a totally different experience. It's so different now, that in fact, I tend to believe that something is wrong. How bizarre is that? The not needing to kegel to have/maintain erection, or to feel pleasure, or to even hit PONR, is just weird. It's almost as if I woke up one day and my body was totally different. Kind of trips me out, way out.
