As I was enjoying my coffee this morning, I was thinking (yeah, I know, not necessarily a great idea, lol). I have a few websites that I frequent because, to me, they have just the greatest tidbits of information that I enjoy reading and learning about. I thought I'd share just in case there are a few of you that share my interests. If you don't, no harm done. I'm not associated with any of these websites but I have taken a wealth of information/knowledge from them and incorporated so much into my daily life.

It basically all started after I received the book, Encyclopedia of Herbal Medicine. I love this book and it has so many home remedy type and what herbs help with what ailment type thing. Just right up my alley folks! I have slight conspiracy theorist tendencies and feel the more I can do for myself and my family, the better off I'll be. As a whole, I feel we've all become too reliant on outside sources and I think one day, that'll bite us all in the rear! Anyway, not the point of this random blog

I enjoy making things on my own. This includes making soaps/shampoos, salves, tinctures, learning all things herbal and "of the land", farming, and many other things. Here are a few of the sites I enjoy and get my base recipes from. If any of you have sites to pass on to me, please do so

Most all my recipes have come from this site....probably my favorite. http://frugallysustainable.com/

More great farming ideas http://pioneerthinking.com/

I found this site a few months back (actually after looking up something from this site, it lead me here, lol) and thought it was pretty cool. I haven't read all the info on this one, but I'm working on it http://www.artofmanliness.com/

If I think of others, I'll add. And please, if you have any, please share
