  • Dry warm up?

How relevant is moisture during warm-up?, I've been using a wet cloth up to now, but it's not very good, it doesn't hold enough heat long enough. I'm thinking about buying a heat pad. The problem is that here (Argentina) I haven't been able to find any of the moisturizing ones, only dry heat ones, and I can't afford buying a moist head pad from amazon, at least for now.

So.. is it advisable that I leave the hot wet cloth for the dry heat pad? I suppose getting enough heat is the most important part of it, so I would think that yes would be the answer.

I guess your answer here is yes, but wet-heat is much more penetrating than dry-heat. But dry-heat does penetrate, just takes longer time so if time is your friend, then go ahead

Are heat pads generally flexible enough to wrap them around you penis, or to fold them and put your penis in the middle? Or do you lay your penis on your abdomen and put the pad over it?

Sorry about the rice sock suggestion. I didn't realize you didn't have a microwave

Anyway, my experience, although limited, with a heating pad was not good. I couldn't get the one that I bought warm enough to suffice as a decent heating source. It was flexible enough to wrap around my penis though, but definitely not snug. Personally, I just don't find them effective.

Here's my advice for you: Fill a sink or tub with hot water. Put a few cloths in the water. While you are using one around your penis, have the other one soaking in the hot water. Just keep a constant rotation of the cloths, using one for a minute or so, then putting it back in the water. This should keep the cloths soaked with warm-hot water while on your unit.

              Hey, Gator

The idea with the water and the rice sock is a good idea. I never thought about doing it that way,I only used it dry.

The problem with the wet cloth is not how long the cloth remains hot, but how long the water in the sink remains hot. I usually doesn't last more than a few minutes before it's just warm. This means you not only have to rotate cloths but you have to empty and fill the sink every few of minutes. Besides, getting the water hot enough means tweaking my water heater (tankless water heater) every time I do warm-up, this includes putting it at max or close to max, and opening the tap enough for the heater to come on, but little enough so that the heat is spread over a small flow of water to concentrate the heat. then I have top set it back before somebody gets burned in his next shower. Heating water in the kitchen would be worse because I would have to have an excuse to come back and forth looking for hot water, I want to keep my PEs secret. Looking at it from that angle cooking a sock in a microwave every now and then would also require some elaborate excuse. The heat pad is practical because I can just go into my room, close the door, and do what I have to do, instead of keeping the bathroom occupied, going in and out with cloths, etc.

Now that I think about it... I remembered that heating water in a microwave can be dangerous, be careful with that.

I got the heating pad a few days ago. Not happy with it, it doesn't keep a constant temperature. The maximum temperature is alright, but as soon as it reaches it it starts getting cooling off. Maybe there is something wrong with it, because it cools of too much.

So.... IR lamps..... what about these? What is the recommended power for the lamp? When you use one of these how do you avoid it heating all your body and everything around it, do you use some sort of lampshade like the ones desktop lamps have to concentrate the light in the direction of the desk? Or are they weak enough that you have to put them quite close to your penis and only that will get warm?

jmath, you might look into the "Far Infrared Mineral Lamps". I just started using mine, regularly, for about a month. They can penetrate up to 3 inches and definitely keep things very toasty down below. Kinda pricey at about 165.00, but should last forever. There are cheaper IR bulbs you can probably find at Home Depot, et al. Mine is about 6 inches dia. and is on a stand. Easy to adjust and aim. Usually keep mine aimed at pubic area to hit the ligs (hanging BTC). Google it and check it out if ya want.
