  • JP90: Session Length and Missed Days?

    Some questions regarding JP90. #3 and #4 have me really frustrated:

    1) If we miss a day, can we make it up by doing 3 days in a row, take a day off, and go back to the normal schedule? Or just stick to 2 days on, 1 day off and minimize the amount we have to miss? I'm dealing with fatigue issues and had to go sleep early yesterday, round 9pm.

    2) How long is the routine supposed to take each day? I've seen some guys saying the routine takes them only 45 minutes, but for me it's 1.5 hours at the very least, sometimes 2.

    3) Jelqing: Most videos and instructions say to use an OK-grip with the palm facing up... but when I try this, a bunch of the skin between the shaft and balls gets in the way, making the motion awkward and feeling inefficient. Also, I have to really contort my wrist so that I start the jelqing motion from the base, or else I only start from bottom-mid/mid-shaft. So I usually do palm-down, but then I don't feel like any real work is being done. Anyone have tips regarding this?

    4) Again jelqing: I frequently have to stop and get more erect, as my erection goes down when jelqing, even if looking at porn. Maybe from 80%ish to 30%ish within 7-10 reps (both hands). Is this because I'm squeezing too hard?

      1) If you miss a day just start back again with 2 days on.

      2) It should only take you 30 - 45 minutes when starting out.

      3) I would say use an overhand grip(palm facing down). I find that it is easier and you can compress the fat pad to start your grip at the very base making it easier to jelq the entire shaft.

      4) It's common for it to be difficult to maintain en erection when starting out. Try timing how lond it takes to do your reps and the go by time rather than reps. This will make it easier to focus on maintaining the erection.

        In addition to Cavalier:
        1) Stick to the routine you were doing. Trying to make up for missed days can be very demotivating. (imagine you missed a day and want to do extra the next day, but the next day you don't feel like having a longer session so you skip again, and so on and so on..) This is an extreme scenerio, but I experienced this with other things like working out.

        2)The time you put in your trainings isn't half as important as the intensity you do it with. I do two sessions of 20-25 minutes a day.

        3) Find the way you feel most comfortable with and practice jelqing the entire shaft( otherwise you might end up with a baseball bat penis). If you feel like no work is done, squeeze a little harder or take slower strokes.

          1. Go by how you feel. If you can do 3 days then return to schedule go for. But if your dick is tired, just skip the day and return to schedule.

          2. It takes as long as needed. If you do everything listed in JP90 it will take over an hour. Most people don't do the full routine because it's a lot.

          3. Make an OK grip, wrap your thumb and first finger around your dick at the base with your knuckles facing your body, palm facing away.

          4. Start very light with jelqs. You might be going too hard. Can you keep an erection when jerking off? Then it should be the same when jelqing.
          Start 3.16.15 - 7bpel, 6bpel, 5meg

          Current 1.19.16 - 7.85bpel, 6.6nbpel, 5.3meg

          Goal 1.19.17 - 8.5bpel, 7.5nbpel, 5.75meg

              Thanks. I've loosened my grip when jelqing and that seems to help. Also I think I was starting with too high an erection

                Yes, with intensity i mean the force you use, but make sure it's within your comfort.
                For example: I find it more productive to do let's say 70 jelqs with a little stonger squeeze, than when I do 140 jelqs with the half of the force I used on the 70.

                  Ok, that makes sense. But then why does the program description say not to go at any of the exercises with force, at the very beginning?
