I would think that making a jelq too long would allow for pressure to pass by the grip and, decrease the effectiveness. I'd like to hear other opinions on the subject though.
My experience with jelqing: the longer the rep, the harder I get... which is obviously dangerous, but gives great expansion if kept in the "safe" range. It just depends on how much time you wanna dedicate to exercise.
I've never tried a 15 second jelq though. I imagine you would lose pressure, like Aguares said.
My jelq strokes are between 10 to 20 seconds, I use about a "3" or "3.5" grip (in a scale of 1 to 5 being 2 the masturbation grip when you start and 3 when you start to reach the orgasm)
I do this at an erection level between my 80% to 90% and for me works wonders, itīs half a jelq half an uli since I have to stop about 0.5" under my glans. Of course it doesnīt have the intensity of a uli since I donīt squeeze that much but it feels pretty nice.
I do them for about 20 to 25 minutes and my buddy ends fat!
I would think each jelq stroke should last between 2 and 5 seconds.
This is a great post. Concise and perfect. Also, this was what I had thought. I guess if someone wanted to "experiment" then that's their thing, but personally, I am with g411 on this for sure!
