Your erections might be coming earlier in the morning. I go through spurts where I won't have very impressive MW. Instead, I have an engorged flaccid and I think it's because my MW happened while I was still sleeping. I've already woken up at 2-3-4am and had a rock-hard boner going on.

Morning wood was fairly routine for me until I got into my 40's. Thing is, I didn't really notice that the morning wood days were getting less and less frequent. (Otherwise, things were fine.) I never kept track, or even really thought about it, but I wouldn't be surprised if I was going more than a month at a time without mw.

Then 3 months ago I started PE. All of a sudden its like, whoa, what's this ... morning wood almost every single morning. To me, this is one very substantial argument that PE is good for penis health.

By the way, interesting discussion on before/after waking. Back when I worked shift work, I noticed that on night shift I would get morning wood at about the same time each morning, say about 6:15 am, even though I had been at work all night.. This made for some awkward carpool moments, LOL.
