Guys, how long did you research the site before you gave PE a try? Any advice on what I definitely need to read before I give something a try? I really don't want to hurt my dick. It's the only one I have.

Read this. Pick a beginner routine. Start at half reps and slowly build up until doing the full routine after 3 weeks.ALL THE WAY WITH GOOD OLE JAY!

It doesn't take me long to do the research, do the reading, get pro and anti views. PE can hurt your dick if you ignore sense, what you feel and what you are told. I jumped into clamping because I am like that, I don't follow the rules, the rule is that clamping is for the advanced PE people, which I am not.
Years ago I heard a snap while on the job, pleasantly occupied, but no pain. The result of that snap was a black and blue penis and scrotum which lasted for 2 weeks. I survived, no ill effects. After that, there is nothing here on PE that could hurt me or do that to me, so I have no jitters or fears.Last edited by closed155; 01-09-2018, 06:04 AM.

Start off by doing some reading in the link Wishful posted(this is the START HERE! link that can be found at the upper left of the page). Choose a structured beginner routine, such as the JP90(JonPop-Intense Beginner Routine), and use the time during this 90 program to continue reading, researching and asking questions before moving on to any other exercises.

I did some reading years ago and started PE then, but stopped for reasons I can't recall. Maybe I wasn't seeing gains fast enough. So, before I made the plunge (on 1/1/18), I would say I put in about a week of A LOT of research, because I was certain to give PE a serious effort this time. And I'm still reading and trying to understand stuff. But so far, I'm keeping to my routine.
The website here is helpful, but there is a limit to what you can figure out. A lot of this is on your own, so make sure you're ready.Start (01/01/18) BPEL=6.25, MEG=5.00
12/03/18 BPEL=7.25, MEG=5.00
Restart (12/01/21) BPEL=6.50, MEG=5.125
Current BPEL=6.50, MEG=5.125
Next Goal BPEL=7.00 MEG = 5.50

I was a lot like you and had my hesitations. Initially I spent a LOT of time reading about the logic behind it all, but it was the videos (see: https://www.pegym.com/articles/penis...se-video-guide) on the site that really helped solidify my techniques (it's one thing to read how to do something and another to actually see it).
I'd say I spent a good month researching and viewing instructional videos before diving in. The big thing for me was setting a goal to actually do the JP90 as documented (time, consistency, etc) and keeping a monthly log of my progress. I've done the same with researching hanging and devices...Last edited by Ellford; 01-09-2018, 11:24 PM.Original/Current Stats:
