  • Obsessive thoughts?

I find that whenever I'm doing PE I become hyper aware of my dick and sex seems to occupy a significant amount of thought space as well as fantasizing about gains. I find it can be incredibly distracting and makes me feel a bit off even when I'm not doing any exercises.

Ideally I'd like PE to be like brushing my teeth, something you do routinely and don't overly sexualize it to the point where it takes over your brain.

Does this happen to anyone else? Any suggestions on cooling down thoughts about sex?

    Thanks

I kind of do this too. I don't over sexualize it, but its not like i'm whipping it out to piss either. Its a workout, need to get into it. I think about how big its going to be and what I can do with my huge dick! Its similar to bodybuilding in a way, almost a mind-muscle connection. This is proven in bodybuilding to increase the contraction and promote growth, I feel it applies in PE too. I see it getting bigger, feel it, and know its growing. Be one with your dick LOL.

Having "good" workouts is a good thing.

Be careful with spending too much time obsessing. Many have burnt out my not letting their mind take a break from thoughts of training.

I feel, if you can sexualize your training, you will have more enjoyment and satisfaction out of the exercises. This shouldnt be a chore. I put horniness into my training, and its so fun i keep coming back for more. If you get obsessed just roll with it and grow grossly.

So, I agree with all the replies so far.

Big Al is right that obsessive thinking can take over your brain and screw up your life, but that is true of anything (work, some shitty thing that happened to you 20 years ago, ideations about how you're not going to be good enough when it counts, etc).

That said, Balls and Watersnake are right too. This ain't brushing your teeth. I can knock that out in 2 minutes, maybe floss for another 2 minutes, while obsessing about some shitty thing that happened to me 20 years ago, and I still get my teeth clean. PE is a workout. You gotta be into it for it to work. I revel in thinking about PE is going to make me a better lover ... and that's fine with me.

If anything use the fantasizing as a tool during expansion exercises (jelqing, squeezes), I put emphasis on using it as a tool.

Fantasize all you want if you are performing squeezes, doing stamina work or edging. Basically anything that requires an erection to perform. The goal in these exercises is to push your “boundary”. If you are jelqing and become too aroused it can be counterproductive.

I would avoid fantasizing while stretching, and suggest taking an “all about business mindset”.

It’s very easy to get caught up in the “what if” of PE. It isn’t bad to think about what you could possibly achieve, but you have to temper it, again use it as a tool. It is very easy to get lost in your head. Focus on the little things you have to do every day to win at PE.

When I was new into this it became an absolute obsession. Now I've been at it for 2 years I'm absolutely obsessed about it.

It is on my mind daily. It makes taking rest days difficult.

That's why it's good to have a realistic goal in mind. So you feel you could stop at a certain point if you want to.

If you're like me your goals will change as you hit the goals you wanted!

              Good luck
