  • Some newbie questions!

    Hey everyone!

So, I read up a little since last time I logged on and I have a couple of questions..

    1. Is warming the penis with a hair dryer equally efficient as with a wet towel, etc?

    2. Does masturbation (with light or no edging) before or after the training session affect the gains negatively?

    3. The V-jelqs confuse me a little bit. Can someone ELI5 them to me? The way I understand them is placing the penis between the middle and ring fingers, as deep into the gap as possible, palm facing the body, fingers looking up, then do a jelq movement until the hand reaches the glans. Akin to say, lifting something in such grip, or pulling on an old fashioned cork screw (well not as hard, but I mean the grip and direction). Am I getting it right?

    4. Does every session have to be the same exercises? or can I mix it up a bit?

Anyway, after doing a slightly modified babbis routine for 5-6 months (as I posted in that thread), I decided to change it and see where it gets me... so now my routine is as follows:

    - 5-10mins warm up

    - 30s stretches SU, SD, L, R, SO

    - 100 wet jelqs*

    - 100 wet v-jelqs**

    - 50 wet side jelqs, for a right curvature correction.

    * Each jelq consists of a 2-3s movement of each hand. One jelq = 1 pass by right hand then 1 pass by left hand. I'm using only a reverse OK grip (overhand? palm facing outwards anyway), as I find it much easier than the standard OK grip. Is that an issue?

** Each jelq is one 3s pass. V-jelqs have a couple of issues though... Firstly, as I currently have not groomed the groin, hair gets pulled during the movement, which is uncomfortable to say the least and also sometimes my hand tends to glide fast upwards as the shaft slips from deep in the gap to the fingertips, probably not doing a good jelq. I tend to add 5 or 10 extra jelqs at the end to cover for the duds.

Frequency: 1 on, 1 off, no weekly or monthly breaks as before.

Let's see how that goes. Any suggestions are welcome! As I said before, length gains are nice if they come, but I mostly need the girth...

    Started with:
    BPEL: abt 6"
    B/M/H EG: 5"/4.5"/4"

    My current measurements:
    BPEL: abt 6.5"
    B/M/H EG: 5"/4.5"/4"

As you can see, girth isn't my forte and my penis also refuses to grow that way...haha!
The babbis routine gave me an initial quick gain at length, which is since then growing very slowly but it's there.

    Anyway, awaiting any responses, thanks!

Hi. I'm not an expert but always ready to share some thoughts.
      There are no easy answers.

      1. The most efficient method is this one, that works the best for you. Moist heat and air heat are different types of connectivity, I guess. After a warm up, penis should be soft, fluffy and filled with blood. You need to check, what is best for you. As for me, hot shower is better than hot towel, but I usually use rice sock, because it's more convinient.

      2. No easy answear too. Some people suggest to avoid any sexual activity a few hours before and after PE exercises. Masturbation can just make your penis too fatigued to get the most benefits from PE. On the other hand, if you get too aroused while exercising, quick masturbation before could be an option to deal with it. Some edging after PE could be beneficial if you not only stroke, but try to keep penis on the highest erection quality. Avoiding ejaculation can help in terms of erecion quality btw.

      3. I understend the V-jelq the same so it could be the right way. I tried to do this, but regular jelqs felt better for me. You need to master your technique to get the most of it.
As for wet jelq you can choose the grip that you want and feel effective for you. I use almost only standard grip but try to learn overhand too. I think that every grip works the shaft in a different way so in a long term it's good to use both alternately.

      4. It's obvious that you can mix exercises, but you should pay attenion to intensity and effects of them. Some differentiation can make PE more interesting. Read some other threads and maybe you will find an inspiration.
      Starting (01/02/2021): MEG=12 cm BPEL=14.4 cm

      Now (01/12/2021): MEG=12 cm BPEL=16.2 cm

        Thanks for your answers!

There are so many PE veterans in this site but nobody else is responding... are they gone?

I am only doing this a few months so I didn't want to reply, figured someone else would. But I will post my thoughts on what I can.

          1. Is warming the penis with a hair dryer equally efficient as with a wet towel, etc?

I think so. In fact I don't like to warm with water because then it cools down in the air. So I use a space heater just not positioned too close to my dick. And it seems to do the job so far.

I think the main thing with V-jelqs is that you are focusing the pressure on the side chambers which I think is called the corpus callosum (CC). There is a lot of soft tissue there with growth potential so the V-jelqs isolate the area. It doesn't have to be a Vulcan sign, just any grip that puts pressure on the side chambers mostly, as opposed to a grip around the entire shaft.

I definitely recommend shaving around the base. I just started that recently and it helps much more to get a good jelqing grip. Otherwise you're kind of gripping into hair and then the hair comes with your jelq until it gets to a certain point down the shaft. Having it smooth at the base has helped me really grip the tissues from the very base and then jelq from there. Also while I jelq I hold the skin back a little with the other hand, not so it's too tight, but just so the skin doesn't slide. I think the skin gliding over the shaft could be a form of jelqing in itself but I like the skin to stay in place and then my hand to glide over the skin and everything underneath.

I think both ways are good, with the overhand grip the palm brushes against the glans more during reps, with the OK grip the hand stays behind the glans, but I think both are good.

          Started with:
          BPEL: abt 6"
          B/M/H EG: 5"/4.5"/4"

          My current measurements:
          BPEL: abt 6.5"
          B/M/H EG: 5"/4.5"/4" https://e5v4d7a2.stackpathcdn.com/fo...milies/bad.gif

Good job on the gains! I've heard girth is harder to come by so don't be discouraged. Just keep doing PE and you will find what works for you. There is plenty of stuff out there and I think it all has a good chance of working!
