  • Weak erection after tough gym workout normal?

    Hi!

    A lot of times I have tried to PE after I come home from the gym, so that I can shower and do everything at once, saving time (at least when possible, I have to stealth PE :/ ). However, I have noticed that I have really weak erections after coming home from a gym session. I workout pretty hard, but is it normal that it affects my erections? Doing normal jelqs is out of the question since I cant get it hard enough for that, and I am happy if I can work up a 50% erection, but thats tough. Sometimes, I may get lucky and have a good PE session, but that is RARE. I have tried to masturbate after a gym session, just to find out how well it works, and the erection definitely weaker than normal. Anyone else having the same issues?

    theres nothing wrong with doing jeqls at 30% ish errection. if you do really work out that hard, odds are your are physicaly tired and stressed. have you tried doing your PE a fews after the gym when you have had time to unwind.

      Sure, its possible to do jelqs at 30%, but not optimal.

      Still, I would really like to know wheter its normal with this problem?

          It's probably normal. if it keeps happening post in here again! other than that maybe do the routine lighter. if i understand you're doing a tough PE workout? Yeah just go lighter for a bit! it wont hurt. as less is always more. another theory is this... (probably hasnt anything to do with what you're experiencing but just for future refrence if you get weak erections and arent sure why) this is the TGC theory my friend.. https://www.pegym.com/forums/pe-theo...explained.html hope the problem improves man!

            I am not talking about after a PE workout, but after doing a tough heavy weight lifting session in the gym!

            Let me refrase, when you are exhausted after working out YOUR MUSCLES (not penis^^), is it normal to have weak erections when you come home from the gym.

              For how long do you work out in general and do you remember to rest properlyl?
              - If your workouts exceed around 1 hour u'll get a decrease in testosterone instead of a boost.
              - Also if you dont give your muscles enough rest after workouts you will also see a decrease!

                This is normal for me, especially on a cardio day. The boys seem to get all tucked up tight and not want to come down. I have found that a nice warm up with hot water in the shower helps with this a bit. Also, if you use any caffeine during the workout that might exacerbate the issue; this seems to have an effect on me. Just my experience.

                  I sometimes train very hard at the gym,and i have the same experience as you.
                  Not so strange actually,you burn away your energy and at lot of hormones that the body store in your muscles are at a low level.
                  And since you have "broken" down your body,its now building up/needs energy quick.

                  Not so strange if you think about it,do you think that marathon runners have a problem with "15 minutes after a race supermegaboner"?

                  *I had bad EQ when I measured ,so I think that the real gaining in length is slightly over 1. inch.
                  Goal: 7 BPEL august 2013.

                      Ive always found that after gym (weight lifting) Your test levels drop massively so its really hard for me to get a strong boner/ keep it up for a long period of time. especially if you use a pre workout i dont think anything is wrong with it tbh just get some rest and your levels should rise ?

                        It's normal, the same happens to me. Your body is tired so you don't any sexual desire, just need some rest. And after a couple of hours, after a good shower and meal, it goes back to normal

                          The exact same thing happens to me, brah. I come home at night from my boxing club (sessions last about 90minutes) and when I try to get an erection my penis is completely dead. I get worried and disappointed. My jelqing routine has given me much harder erections, especially in the mornings, and things have been going well. I can get hard at almost any time during the day. But after a workout it's impossible.

                            Blood diversion could be what is at play here.

                            If I have trained very hard (in the gym) - it can be a couple of hours before my body reaches it's normal resting state again (legs no longer pumped up for example).

                              I was just going to post about this. I am on month two of jp90's program and my EQ was gettign a lot better. I was having some problems gettign an erection due to a recent break up. Things were gettign better,I changed my diet and lost about 18lbs. then 2 1/2 weeks ago I started a workout program called insanity. I have dropped another 9lbs in the last three weeks. Insanity is about 40 minutes of cardio 6 days a week. I noticed that when doing the cardio, my penis would retreat. It makes its very uncomfortable to work out. I also have a hard time gettign hard in the shower after. I work third shift and workout in the afternoon when I wake up and then PE in the shower after. I may switch back to PE before bed and workout when I wake up, or vise versa. I have also noticed that my flacid state is much weaker too since I started working out. I also just started talking vigrx plus to help with the blood flow. only been on them for about a week.
