  • Are gains really permanent?

All the exercise descriptions say all gains are permanent (referring to the JP90 now), some people say only girth gains are permanent, et cetera.

Are gains really permanent or do they have to be maintained for the rest of your life? If you reached a desired length or girth, could you just up and leave your penis, never to exercise it ever again? I find that hard to believe.

A cementing period is usually necessary.

Back in 1999 - 2001 I gained 1" in length and .5" in girth. I have done very little PE between then and now. I measured on 11/9/12 and I have lost 1/8" length and I have gained 1/8" girth (probably from the 4 weeks of beginners PE i've done recently). So the majority of my gains stuck for 10-11 years with only brief light stretching before I urinate and before I get in the shower (basically when my penis is out). This light stretching was an ingrained habit from my old PE days. I didn't intentionally cement my gains. But I did taper off my PE over the course of around 3 months.
        (Late 1999): 6" BPEL x 5.25" MSEG
        (Early 2001): 7" BPEL x 5.75"MSEG (mostly Hanging/Jelqing)
        Aug 16th 2015: 7.375" BPEL x 6" MSEG
Goal: I have retired from PE - So my goal is just maintaining.

Thanks for the feedback, gentlemen. I'm really starting to get more and more interested in this to the point where I think I'm going to start PE in the next month or so. I'm just going to lurk around a bit longer to make sure I know my way around PE before I get into it. I'd rather have an average healthy penis than a large permanently injured penis (paranoid much?).

I did a lot of PE for over a year, including lots of hanging with 20+ lbs, very intense Ulis and other avanced girth exercises. I never suffered and injury. Just use your head. Work up to the intense stuff slowly. Listen to your body. Don't skip warming up. Then you should be fine.

Then the best thing you can do is start on a beginner routine, and not be one of those guys that goes around seeing who had the biggest or fastest gains then trying to mimic their routine, because it doesn't work like that.
Look around the beginner forum and the stickies and all and start on one of the well known routines when you know you have time to do it properly with no rushing and you'll be good to go.

There are some mixed views on this. Some seem to believe that the quicker you have gained, the quicker you can lose those gains. On the other hand, there is the belief that the longer the gains took, the more permanent they become. My personal belief is, that the majority of what was gained is permanent. I think it has more to do with the individual on what is kept and what is lost. But it's easy to keep track, so if you did start to lose you could always go back on a routine.

I'm definitely going to take your advice and start off slowly, taking my time. I'm not looking for any considerable gains (I'm already at 6.7 BPEL (minimum), just looking for 8.0 BPEL, hopefully to result in a 7.0 NBPEL). I'm only 20 years old, the goals aren't too extreme, and I've got all the time in the world (to gain and cement). Besides, if I really do end up enjoying PE for its own sake, I can keep maintaining for the rest of my life.

The thing is, I'm 6'3 and a (roughly) 5.8in penis doesn't look too good on my size. I took a ruler and held out 18cm (7in) from my pelvis though and damn, that looked sexy.

                  Thanks for the advice.

Another question: Do I only have to cement gains when stopping PE?
                    Actual stats
                    BPEL: 8,75 "
                    EG(Mid): 5,5 "
                    FL: 5,25"
                    FG: 4,75"

                    Goals:

                    Curing P.E. [x]
                    9,5" x 6" [ ]

PU- Me and you have the same goals more or less, 8.0BPEL with 7.25 NPEL by 5.75- 6.0 EG. For some reason I always tell my self PE can't work, so i do it (diligently) to convince my self it doesn't work, or i must have measured it to my advantage last time, and to my surprise i always get increases, (incremental) but still increases. I seem to pick up PE sporadically taking 2 year break. I must have picked it up and dropped it around 4-5 times. I always start with the JP90 routine, and when i finish it i get some increases. Here is the weird part, after the JP90 some weird thing happens, where i no longer am concerned with the size of my penis, call it being comfortable in my own skin or maybe its the thought that, hey if i wanted to i can always increase it anytime i want. I can tell you, last time i quit PE was May of this year. I measured my self late Oct. I lost .1 inch in BPEL and .1 inch in EG. That alone motivated me to start up and try to cement my gains closer to my goal. But in regards to PE being permanent, im pretty sure like others have said, the gains are for the large part permanent.

I started PE at 6.75 BPEL 5,9 NBPEL and and 5.1 EG. (it has been over the course of 5 years with my sloppy dedication)
The biggest i was (to my knowledge) was when i took a break in May of this year, 7.25 BPEL 6.5 NBPEL and 5.5 EG

SPARKNOTES: yea for the most part PE results are permanent, or at least they were for me in my story above.

Thanks for the help, sir. I'm definitely taking all success stories into account. I definitely look forward to being more comfortable in my own skin and with my own penis. Your success story is one of the many that are motivating me. Thanks again.
