  • Lube Problem..

I am having trouble getting a lube to work for me . I used vaseline before and seemed to work fine but somebody mentioned that the petrolium jelly is a known carcinogen and i haven't used it since..

So I started using baby oil but it wasn't good enough as a lubricant for my likings , and it made my skin dry up and crack when I stopped using it .

So now I am trying hypoallergenic ultra mild baby lotion but , alas, it irritates and stings my skin :

Are there any good lubes out there that are that are also good for your skin and won't dry up the skin when they are washed off after PE?

My two favorites are plain cocoa butter and water-based lube. The cocoa butter works well with warm hands, adds moisture (and some vitamin E), but can stain. The water-based lube creates a slightly more slipper surface, can't stain, but lacks vitamins and sometimes makes you sticky if you don't wash it off afterwards.

ID Glide(normal or long lasting) - It's a water based lube so have a cup of warm water near by so you can reactivate the lube when it starts to become a little dry.

Coconut oil - It's good for your skin but I prefered the lube, I felt it was better for jelqing.

Those are the two I've tried that I would recommend, all the others I've tried were useless.

A lot of people seem to love oils, but to chime in with the other mods, I use H2O. Its a water-based lube.

I just wanna piggy-back off of this thread and ask you a question, since I ran a search and want to be sure I'm right. When you say cocoa butter, you mean just the lotion right? I've seen lotions semi-discouraged, but I know cocoa butter is really good for the skin. I bought Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula with Vit. E, and just wanna make sure when everyone says "cocoa butter," they aren't talking about the raw stuff.

OT: I started out using grapeseed oil and it works really well and is good for the skin. It is just really messy, being an oil.

I'm talking about the Palmer's cocoa butter in the jar - not the lotion. Yes, it's thick and almost clay-like at first, but it quickly softens, especially when your hands and penis are warm from a rice sock or hot shower. It does the trick for me. It's all I've used from the beginning with the exception of a few tries with water-based lube. The lube was a very close second place. I still use Palmer's.
