  • Question about LOT theory...

I can feel a tug back in the up, straight, left, and right directions when doing a kegel during a stretch. I've heard that the more resistance there is (and in more directions) the longer the gains will take (if they come at all). How true is this theory? Has anyone here experienced good gains, even with a lot of resistance? I've been at it for 5 months and I just want to know if gains are even possible, the amount of time it takes is irrelevant to me.

OH and what type of workout works well for someone with tight ligs like myself? I would like the input of people who are and have been in the same position as me (or the vets) so that I can learn from their trials and progress in a timely fashion.

You read that or heard of that. You have definately never read that. To the left and right are not part of the test. Do the test as described in the LOT article and please rea it again. Remember that loss of tug is when you notice a REDUCTION in tugback.

That's right. Left and right directions have nothing to do with testing one's LOT.

Oh, and tight ligs would be great for gaining. That would mean you have a lotof stretch potential. Sounds like you have a high LOT and that mens your ligs may hae greatgains in store!!!!!
