I have a problem with doing a kegel each jelq, it makes my dick harder and harder, which isn't what I want when I jelq for length.
If kegeling is increasing your erection, then you might cut back to one hard kegel for every two or three jelq strokes. I like to kegel because I get an extra half inch to inch increase in my flaccid or semi-erect cock length, whether I'm jelqing or stretching. It's a motivational factor for me.

What do you mean by much? That's really good advice for someone with hard expectations of gaining an inch or even a half, or to just keep expectations low, but that seems to me like saying go ahead and lift weights for 3 months but don't expect your muscle growth to amount to much. I've had gains that were clearly attributed to increased EQ that have stayed for two-three years now. I would say something to the effect of your results *will* vary in such short amounts of time but keep at it, and then advise them on cementing.

I've never adhered much to the concept of cementing gains.

You have too at all but can. I do when I need a little extra pump of blood in the shaft. Don't be discouraged if you get an erection jelquing but instead let it die down at about 50% again. It will subside once the brain gets used to it being an exercise or routine than for stimulation reasons.
            Begin 7/25/2011:
            NBPEL 7, BPEL 7.2, MEG 5.6, BEG 6

            Current 12/05/2014:
            FL 5.25, FG 5.2
            NBPEL 7.8, BPEL 8.1, UEG 5.75, MEG 6.25, BEG 6.7

            Long:
            UEG:MEG 6.5

He's talking about keeping your expectations in the realm of the possible, which is also very practical when lifting weights. You can lift for 3 months and your progress is very dependent upon your conditioning before the three months. Most beginners have done very little PE before starting, that is like going to the weight room without ever lifting before. What would your advice be to a complete gym noob? Take it easy, focus on technique, learn to exercise properly, become aware of how your body (muscles) work, and don't expect to transform from Chris Farley to Arnold S. in the next three months. You might make some noticeable gains, which is great, but deviate from this advice and you'll probably injure yourself.

Sounds a lot like the advice given by G4. Start with the beginner exercises, don't think you're going to add inches in weeks or months, and focus on technique, consistency, and PIs.

              Very good advice.
