This would be best because there would be no install etc. We could also allow users to submit their data anonymously so that we could get trends on various things. All I would need to know is what we need to track and I could whip something up in a week.

    Well, the offer is on the table,

    Integrating the software to PEGym would be a really good idea. The ideal would be to have a link to it in our profile...
    Not sure that it's doable in terms of authorizations, etc but if so, it would be a good enhancement.

      Been lurking on the PE sights the last couple years, just started back up again stretching and some jelqs, I think the thing for me was not having something to keep me accountable kept me from really committing full time. I like to record my progress, this will be what helps me. thanks for making this program.

        Download details: Access 2007 Download: Access Runtime
        I was able to download and install both MS Access runtime and GainMaster from the links, however I do not have MS Office and Access will allow me to run the program and enter data into fields but Access will not let me save or any other such thing. Wondering if you must have Office to have full functionality in Access. Tried to find a way to run it with Open Office but without success. Anyone have ideas?

        Thanks!

            Bumping this thread. Anyone tried this? If so, we may be making our own version with more detail and options that would attach to your account.

              I've tried it, pretty useful! Although for me, keeping track of gains in my log works just fine.

              I'm interested in seeing what you guys do with that cal, as a main reason I like using my log is so other people can see, comment on, offer advice, and ask questions about my routine.

                Yeah, I started working on this. I am setting up a much more general infrastructure though. You can create a generic form and add as many fields to it as you want. You can also start from pre-created forms that other users have created. This makes it very easy to get going. I have all this finished and it is working great. My next step is to turn this into a usable site and make some basic reporting. I haven't started on the navigation yet but I think it should be fairly trivial to set up since I will only have a few things to work with for now. I should have all this done within a week or so. After that i will be adding in some graphs and allow you to view your measurements over various units (time, length, distance, weight, etc). This will take a bit more time since I want it to be really easy to use but allow very complex reporting.

                Right now I only work on it when I get off work and on the weekend so it has been going fairly slow. I have also been pretty stressed out at work so it is going even slower than I would like...

                Anyway, I plan on having a beta near the end of February or March (as long as I stay motivated and keep working on this). The site will be free but have some unobtrusive ads on it -- gotta pay for that bandwidth.

                I am definitely going to expose a REST service so you will be able to integrate this into the gym. I would like to work it so we could possibly embed graphs/grids of data right into forum posts.

                Anyway, I am going to bed now. I worked a 18 hour day yesterday and didn't get home until 2:30... Stupid bosses and their unreal expectations a week before launching a product...

                  Great work, I'm gonna give it a try. It all looks really helpful in keeping stats
                  March 28 2011 BPEL = 5.7"
                  March 28 2011 EGB = 5.5"

                  Goal:
                  BPEL = 6.5"
                  EGB = 5.75"

                          PE is a lot like sex. First you have to find your technique, rotate your routine, and then plan on it taking a while. Then you will find satisfaction.
