    hey all,

    Just one small concern that I would like clearing up if you would be so kind...

    When erect my penis feels softer from the base up to 1" and then feels a lot harder the rest of the way up.

    Is this normal or should I also be concentrating a little more on the base?

    It's my base girth that is the main issue when it comes to condoms.

    It it possible that you're including part of the fat pad in this assessment, or is this softness well up on the shaft away completely away from the base? Have you been doing anything in particular to address this issue?

      Are you using the overhand Jelq grip? The thumb and index finger forming the O.K. grip, pushed against the pubic bone to start your stroke? You must start your Jelq from the very base of the shaft.

        Thanks for taking the time to respond.

        Big Al: I'm a pretty skinny lad so I don't really have a lot of fat. It is on my actual penis shaft it's self... if I tense my penis up by kegelling I can get this softer bit to harden up completely which is a good sign I suppose.

        JonPop: I have been doing the Jelq as you described with my thumb and index finger toward the base of my penis. I have been starting from the very bottom but not nessecarily hard pushed in to my pubic bone.

        Maybe I should ensure I am pushing right against the pubic bone befor each jelq.

        It's only slightly softer I guess, is it likely to be something to worry about?

          No, just found it a bit odd. I gained base girth pretty quickly and I think most PE'rs do.
          You might want to try my 3-part dry Jelqs.

            I had this problem too. I solved it by doing a couple 70-80% flaccid bends to the left and too the right at the very base. After only two or three sessions I actually had a very firm thick base. Worked real well, but 70-80% is pretty intense so be real careful.

            Also, I feel ya bro. When I started doing a real routine on 9/27 my measurements were 6.75 NBEL and 4.15 EG. Now I'm 7 NBEL and I'm at least 4.25 EG. I've been able to get some 90%er's up to 4.4".

            I had been PE'ing for a little over two months before that and saw no gains, but I was just jerking around doing just jelqs.
