  • am i doing to much?

    Hi, this is my first post on here although i have followed this website for probably a year on and off.
    i'm a 20yo male, gym instructor and fitness freak haha.
    I've never really had a problem with sex although i've declined alot in the last year, allow me to explain.
    last year my ex girlfriend and i were enjoying sex and at that time i could last as long as i would like, i admit that my erections would soften after a while but to be honest that to be expected from a sex session in which i made her orgasm up to 9 times. we broke up and i met a new sexual partner and my current girlfriend, at first i could last as long as before although my partner would only like to have sex until we both came once which is always a disapointment haha.
    over time i've become quicker and quicker resulting in premature ejaculation, which is devestating for somebody of my age. i admit that with my new partner sex is special and she enjoys that she can make me orgasm as easily as i can make her, but for me i feel weak in comparison to before and sometimes i would just like to dominate her and 'give her the good news' instead of taking it slow, and i know she feels the same.

    so i've started a routine, i belive i have chosen well with the jp90 beginners workout my questions are as follows:
    -if i follow the jp90 routine with edging and kegel exercises 50 reps is this overtraining?
    -i have considered doing some reverse kegels (apparently to help me last longer) would this be recomended?
    -also have i got these exercises right? (excuse my vulgar language)
    1.)kegel would be the same as holding urine in
    2.)reverse kegel would be the same as if i was pushing out a rather large duke

    (my overtraining is somewhat a hobby as i used to do it alot with regular exercises before i was qualified)

    i hope i've not infringed on any rules ect i did read the stickies but sometimes things require a personal opinion

    Welcome to the gym Odin!

    Glad to have you here, and great name by the way! Yes, the JP90 is a great routine. Let me see if I can help with your questions;

    Your body's response will be the best indicator of over-training, as outlined here > Physiological Indicators (PI's). The JP90 says to do 25 quick kegels during your stretches, so I would suggest sticking with that until you are past your conditioning phase. Although, you can probably alternate between regulars and reverse. Balancing the PC floor muscle is recommended, just don't over-do it!

    Yes, you have the kegels "feel" correct, although there are some other tips to help you get them correct. Check out this forum for a lot of useful info from experienced members regarding kegels > Premature Ejaculation Forum

    I would strongly recommend reading through the new members thread START HERE!. It has further in depth answers to your questions, as well as tips for success and things to avoid.

      I did more than that when I started out, and never got any problems from it such as lower E.Q or pain...I can't vouch for your penis though, just look out for signs like pain, red spots lower E.Q then try to evaluate why its happening and adjust your routine

      A decent set 2 times a day to start out of R/K's and kegels will help to solve your quick fire problem, I had the same problem and now can last as long as I want....get into ballooning and edging as part of your routine too....if you can edge for 20 mins then do more ballooning would be my opinion

      Your amusing terminology to describe the Kegel R/K sound about right to me ...I'd always say an R/K is more like push a fart out....wouldn't want to push to hard and actually shit myself !!!

        Short goal -7.25"(goal reached!)NBP** 8.25"BPEL x 5.75" EG (goal reached!)

        Long term goal - 8"NBP ** 9" BPEL x 6"EG

            cheers for the warm welcome guys, and thanks for the user compliment
            hahahahaaa i wasn't expecting so much comedy gold in such a short time period. Cheers for all the replies guys this has helped loads. i think i'm going to stick with what i'm doing: jp90 programme with alternating kegels at the end for periods of 5 seconds a rep to begin 3x10 of both type after the jelqing and what not. another interesting theory i was playing around with (hahaha playing around with on a penile gym forum ) was that during exercises the more muscles utilized releases more hgh (human growth horemone) now i'm also following an intermittant fasting routine that increases the amount of hgh. so assuming the the penile muscles are affected by the same growth horemone as skeletal muscles it would be an interesting theory that could help growth through lifting and training. just a though . another insentive to start lifting big.

            also just shat my kegs trying to kegel...jk

              We're mammals after all...so fasting would be inevitable if it wasn't for us developing a motivated high strung consciousness and the ability to store foond with it ect ect

              I fast too...keeps me trim, alert and grateful ( esp the day after)

                good to hear mate i think everyone should do it, i have a fast metabolism and its good for putting lean muscle on.
                in my opinion, think how a hunter animal eats and i recon thats the key to it. exercises/work eat loads then sleep, unfortunatly i think our body is used to far to many calories to sustain not a great deal so the next best thing is fasting

                  Welcome to the gym. Just do the 90 day routine for at least a month.

                  Edging can be added in slowly but it could be overtraining. You could do the 90 day on M/W/F and edge on T/The and see how you like that split.

                    I agree, the days before I'm due a fast Ill up my intake on meats so the slow burning proteins will get me through it..

                    I've got kids, and since making them have taken learning about nutrition to the next level...maybe a few steps to far....I never ever make them fast tho...that'l be their choice when I teach them...too young atm

                      Welcome odin! I think you'll love the Gym. Lots of great people more than willing to help. I've been doing JP's 90 day routine for 4 weeks and loving it. In addition to the JP90, I edge for 20-30 minutes 2-3 times a week and do daily kegels...lots of them now. Today, beginning of week 5, I'm doing 10 minutes of regular kegels and 4-5 minutes of reverse kegels once or twice a day for the next two weeks.

                          thanks for all the advice and warm welcomes. i've started with doing every other day of exercises and the jp90 routine feels good so far already i've noticed a harder erection quality and it feels firmer on the sides. i think i might of been jelquing a bit hard though as the tip of my penis has a little pain when kegeling so i'll losen my grip tonight and see how it goes, haha as for the kegels and reverse kegels they are going well as far as i can tell
                          going to do my workout now then have a look at measuring my girth and length properly so i can record my results.
                          my partner and i are in a long distance relationship so hopefully next time i plug her with what i nick named "the magnum" she'll feel the results. i'm also going to have a look in the theorys forum and look into hgh and exercises related to penile growth/health i might be able to find some interesting threads . as for the fasting i agree with everything you've said it's fantastic but i don't know how it would affect children and their growth ect and its never good to force things on people.
                          had a look through those links 'getinbig' cheers kegel one specifically helpful.
