I was just looking at my I-pod and I just figured out I don't give a shit about global warming. First off me and the kids will be long dead way before any effects are seen or felt. I don't really think I'd like my grandkids all that much so let them deal with it. From all I read it seems the jury still out on the effect we humans have on this planet. Some smart people think we have a big affect; some don't. We base much of our information on global warming on the melting of the polar ice caps.I was reading in Discovery magazine that the polar ice caps on Mars are shrinking and as far as I know we haven't sent any '57 Chevys up to screw up their planets. Maybe it could have something to do with the sun? Who would have thought?

So what they hell does that have to do with my I-pod? I just look at that little thing; 1000's of songs. I got pictures,maps,I can access the internet. I bought my first computer 20 years ago;it was a big old thing that didn't do to much except sign on to AOL and play solataire. This little I-pod I hold has more power than all the computers that were in all the manned spacecraft sent to the moon. We did this in 20 years! Man is a survivor by nature; we have survived all that nature has thrown against us including women. I bet in 20 years if there is something tha tman is doing that is bothering this planet I bet man will come up with a good way to fix i,t Now if we can only fix women!
