Much has been made about government control. Between Ron Paul running around the country saying basically that the government has to get out of everything to the new bill that threatens to "censure" the internet, it seems governement is getting a bad rap, maybe worse that what it deserves. Face it we want government control. You don't think so? We want our government to make sure our water is clean, the medicine we use are safe, the food we eat is not contaminated, our roads are safe to drive on, and the list goes on and on. When does government go too far? That question seems to be answered differently depending on what generation you're from. To the young any threat to the internet is a sacriledge; to older folks who knew the world way before the interent it's no big deal. To older folks safety from a nuclear Iran is very important yet to the young it doesn't bring as much fear as the 1% ers.

It does seem to me that the impending election seems to be pointing in just that same dicotomy; a big government getting bigger or that same government getting somewhat smaller. I wonder what will happen and by what block of voters will swing the tide.
