So I emptied the Minute Rice from my somewhat discolored Rice Tube sock, into a bowl. Some of the rice escaped, scurrying to the floor and other places around the kitchen, causing a frantic search & collect mission to be implemented.
Penultimately I added some fresh, virgin rice to a backup tube sock, before adding in the well-seasoned rice from prior uses, and tied the knot, preventing unauthorized AWOL rice escapes.
Tested it in the microwave, success was achieved. And so my friends, I am back in business, clean rice sock et al.
side note: the used rice was examined, and found not to be esthetically damaged from repeated exposures to the microwave radiation. Discoloration not bad.
