Hello Hulkman,
I seldom jump on the forums because understandably there's so many people out there taking advantage of the men growing their penis that all caution lights are up and I'm usually immediately attacked every time I post a comment.
But, you seem interested and have asked and it's been a while since I updated on this forum, so here goes...
About 6 years ago now, I was the first to inject PRP into the human penis (my own penis) and called the procedure the Priapus Shot® procedure because I knew that many untrained people would pretend to know what I was doing and mislead patients and that with a trademarked name I could shut them down if needed.
I have not needed to see patients to make a living since 2006 (I have over 100 websites and multiple businesses) and am not here to get new patients, so please do not contact me for that purpose or crucify me for being here to solicit patients (with over 100 websites I cannot even return all my email and am not able to see any new patients), I'm here to simply let the forum know what the lead researcher in the world on this topic (and inventor of the idea) is presently thinking (if you're interested...if not, just delete this comment and forgive the intrusion).
First, there are many ways to make PRP and much debate about what PRP even is! The effect a man has will be determined partly by the quality of the PRP made and the man's tissue. Here's one research paper which goes into some of the science of what PRP actually is (which is still under debate. Because I was a research chemist before going to medical school, this sort of research is like reading the comic book to me (and I'm sure the same for many members of this forum...very entertaining and fascinating but sometimes funny because of what I think is the absurdity of some of the ideas some people try to pass off for science in order to sell their lab equipment.
The kits used to make PRP were largely developed for orthopedic surgeons and oral surgeons to use to help promote healing of the knee and the bone(especially when doing procedures on men who have been radiated for throat cancer and now they must try to heal an oral surgery with very damaged tissue from the radiation). Some of the manufacturers of some of the better known kits give me lab equipment to try because some of our procedures have become very popular, but still most of the kits were developed for the orthopedist and dentists. There are over 20 of these kits that have been approved by the FDA to prepare PRP in a sterile fashion to go back into the body. I have personally used over 10 of them (some of them are not even worth looking at), and as a researcher I have experimented on my own penis with various combinations (combining the PRP with Acell or with an hyaluronic acid filler). Companies offer me money to push individual kits, but I won't take it because I'm not yet sure which technology works the best.
One of the good things about PRP, is that in literally thousands of research papers, there's never been ONE serious side effect EVER (like the abnormal granulomas or scar formation that's brought up occasionally as was done on this blog and that's what prompted me to post this update). On the contrary, we use PRP to TREAT scar tissue and to help abnormal tissue go back to normal.
Unlike fillers, like Juvederm, PRP is permanent in that there is new tissue growth.PRP is what causes the new growth naturally when you heal a surgical wound Your wound doesn't fall apart after 2 years and need to be stitched back together. It was not the stitches that held it together...the stitches held the cut skin close until the PRP cause new skin to grow...it was the new skin that held the tissue together. So, that skin does not go away after a year or two and need to be sown back together.s.
On the other hand, people are not frozen in time. So, 2 years later, the person is 2 years older. The ankle won't age, but the face does, so usually after around 2 years, people want another treatment. Men lose some of the endothelium of the penis from simply normal aging, so they often want to redo the treatment to maintain.
Also, just as when a man grows his biceps to larger than what he'd see without weight training and hormones, if he stops the weights and the hormones, his biceps goes back toward where he started (though perhaps not all the way back). In the same way, if a many uses the Priapus Shot® procedure and traction or a pump to grow the penis and then stops both, then with time the penis goes back toward the start size. Most men seem to be able to maintain growth by pumping once a week and a shot once a year. But that can vary.
So each man has two sizes of bicep according to genetics...what he has by genetics without training, and his limit with training (also limited by genetics and maximized with the optimal training). The analogy is obvious. We have a natural penis size and a maximal size with training based on genetics and the intelligence and persistence of the training. The Priapus Shot® is just part of the formula to maximize the trained penis or to restore the untrained penis to it's younger state...but the Priapus Shot® does not stop time nor change the need to continue whatever training would normally be used to maintain the trained penis.
So, back to the penis--here's what I've seen so far and what I think we may see in the future. Only about 60% of the men who see me for the Priapus Shot® grow over an inch in length. I've never seen anyone grow over 2 inches (only 2 who grew 2 inches) and most men who grow, it's 1/2 inch to 1.5 inches in length. I've only seen one person grow an inch in length without using a pump.
The first to grow is girth, then length. There will be some increase in girth the day of the injection but it goes down as the fluid is resorbed and then appears only after 2-3 weeks (that's when the new growth starts in all of the soft tissue therapies done with PRP). With the orthopedic procedures, the full effect is not until 6 MONTHS to a YEAR. With soft tissue the full effect is not until around 3 months, so there's really nothing to notice until around the 3rd to 4th week except the effects of the pump.
You could say that the growth is all from the pump and you'd be right in the same way that people who use steroids and lift weights, almost all of the growth is from lifting the weights and the steroids simply enhance the growth from the weights.
In other words, if growth is the goal, then you still need everything that's taught on this forum, the pumps, the routines, all of it! The Priapus Shot® simply enhances the effects of those routines and how it affects a person's personal genetics. You can see improved erection and improved sensation without the pump but not as likely to see growth without the pump. The art of the routine for the penis is similar to that of a man lifting weights, designing a routine and then modifying that routine based on how the man's body is responding (that routine including much more than what's going on with the pump).I've actually advised the doctors in our group when treating men to focus primarily on improving the firmness of erection, recovery after prostate surgery, Peyronie's disease, and lichen sclerosus. I don't yet know how to improve the stats which are presently around 60% of the men who get the priapus shot will see 1/2 inch to 1.5 inches of growth in length (and similar in girth). The upper end of growth only occurs in most men after 2-3 shots and regular practice of the principles taught on this forum.
On the other hand, without any therapy, the average man loses close to 1/2 of the endothelium of the penis by the time he reaches 65 and we have studies proving that the PRP helps a man recover that endothelium.
I encourage our physicians to refund money if the man does not see results after the second shot (and to not treat the man again if he needs a refund). That way, if the person really gets no effect, he does not feel "shafted" but he cuts himself off from further treatment if he's the very rare (but real) man who is seeing effects but trying to get treatment for free.
If the ideas is to grow 2 inches and looking to the Priapus Shot® to be the way, then you're likely to be disappointed until we do some more work. I'm hopeful but don't think we can promise that unless perhaps in the man who is willing to have multiple injections and do all the teachings on this forum an be patient perhaps for years.
Warnings...I do not think adding stem cells to the mix improves the Priapus Shot® procedure (see the rat study here). Though stem cells may be useful in some central nervous system problems and other problems where it may be difficult to inject directly into the disease tissue, you don't need to transfer stem cells when you cut your hand or have surgery...the PRP that's made by the body recruits stem cells from your bone marrow and locally and then fertilizes those stem cells.
Most of the stem cell studies mix the stem cells with PRP. It's the PRP that's doing most of the work and adding the stem cells adds much cost and discomfort of most procedures.
Second, not everyone who says they are doing the Priapus Shot® knows what they are doing. I literally have a full time attorney to keep the imposters and posers from pretending to be part of our group (I require members of our group to contribute money to help fund research and some physicians want to claim to be part of our group without making that contribution. So, for the Priapus Shot®, I would only use providers who have agreed to use FDA approved PRP prep kits and understand our methods and our most recent research.
So, hopefully that answers the current questions about the Priapus Shot® procedure.
Very best regards,
Charles Runels, MD
Inventor of the Priapus Shot® procedure

By the way, I had PPR/stem cell done for Cipro related nerve/tendon damage. I had intranasal, IV, and intramuscular. Funny thing is, the first week my feet ballooned up with water A LOT. Well, it's been 2 years now and my feet have grown a whole size! I am 35 by the way. So there are MAJOR benefits to PRP/stem cell for many things.
I would look into using MSM cream, LED light therapy, and light stretching to increase the elastic properties before adding girth. That is unless you have ED and you never get over, say 50%, Erection, then you would have room to grow and PRP may be a catalyst to successful PE.

I would have thought prolonged edging would have the same effect as a p shot.
