Compounding Pharmacy Cialis a Dud

How could this be? Thought I'd figured out a way to beat the system. $10 Cialis vs outrageous Walgreen's prices. Doc wrote the scrip, took it to the compounder for 15mg "rapid release" vs normal 20mg and picked it up Saturday. NOTHING...Tried a 2nd one Sunday...NOTHING. Normally 20mg Cialis leaves me feeling like a horny 18 year old for 48 hours with even erections off and on all night. Bought 15 of these from a compounding pharmacy and feel like a fool...and $150 poorer.

Thinking about calling the pharmacy this morning and saying W...T...F! Why didn't they work? Anyone have this experience?

Sorry I have never used Cialis. I'm not sure what a compounding pharmacy is either. I do recommend you call the pharmacy if your medication does not work.

The traditional role of compounding pharmacies is to make drugs prescribed by doctors for specific patients with needs that can't be met by commercially available drugs. To get around the patent something has to be slightly different. In this case the doctor can prescribe a "unique" dose and "rapid release" just to meet the requirements. The first batch they made crumbled or whatever so there was a day delay. I'll call them at lunch and try to be diplomatic. You put the pill under your tongue and it dissolves. Didn't work...not even a little.

Well take a look at prices in Canada now, Cialis has lost it's patent and it's now sold as a generic at greatly reduced prices from real pharmacies. Not to say compounding pharmacies aren't, but it's a product made on the spot.

Rapid release may be your problem. Don't know how cialas works but maybe quick release is not what it is supposed to do? I do know that stuff has a longer half life to work for a longer period of time.

But you soon get a feeling soon after you have taken them anyway, well I did

this company you can get 120 10mg pills for $147.44 all you have to do is take one and bite one in half and you would have your 15mg job done and there kosher pills.

I think there in Canada.
