  • Made progress but then went downhill again

So I suffered from erectile dysfunction ever since being a teenager. I finally made some progress this year. I quit watching pornography six months ago. I don't think that caused it but I agreed at a minimum it wasn't helping so I gave it up. I started taking medication to treat my ED which also helped. I met new partners and started to condition myself to be comfortable and respond to them.

It was going well. I regained confidence and thought I was putting the nightmare of erectile dysfunction behind me. But then the past two times I tried to have sex it didn't go so well. Both times I was able to get hard... eventually... but it took a lot of stimulation and it was embarrassing how long it took me to get an erection. And I was very into the people and in the mood mentally. It's true that during both of these times I may not have been on my best because I didn't eat well those days and may have been nervous, but I hate that my erection quality is so vulnerable where if even the slightest thing is out of whack then I can't perform.

I suspect that sensitivity loss from being circumcised is what caused this problem (not by my choice). I can hardly feel anything down there. I use foreskin restoration stretching techniques but those only have been going so far.

I just don't know what else I can do other than continue to abstain from porn and take the pills to treat ED.

      Cialis is the pill.

Doctors aren't helpful with this. They pretty much discount that it's a real problem and say it's psychological or just don't care about my sex life thinking it's not important.

Testosterone was above average. No other hormones were measured. One urologist said he could give me an ultrasound which was very invasive and would involve a female nurse sticking a needle in my penis and my insurance wouldn't even cover it so it would cost $500. I said no thank you. I guess the purpose of that would be to check for a venous leak or blockage or something like that.

Go get the numbers or get another test and get the numbers.

I actually got a question that was probably asked before so forgive me.

Has anyone here noticed a relation between PE and erection quality. Have your erections gotten better or worse upon starting PE methods? I never did any PE methods yet so I don't know.
