    I have posted this elsewhere, but it got edited down due to "too much information" ...not sure if that's the case here.

    How to explain, keeping it simple but descriptive.

    I didn't lose my virginity until I was 30 (woo) with my then girlfriend. Prior to this, I would estimate I was masturbating since the age of 15 or so, and yes... usually to some sort of pornography. I am now 36, FYI.

    While I was able to easily get an erection during foreplay and the like, I noticed that my erection would quickly die down after a short period of time, either before or during intercourse.

    I would also get quite tired as well, in a short space of time, which also caused my erection to dissipate. It also made it hard to ejaculate by my own hand as well, as I was just too exhausted to continue.

    Fast-forward to 2017 with my current girlfriend, with whom I am seeing similar problems.

    Problems maintaining an erection and stamina levels getting low very quickly. I am still able to get a solid erection during foreplay, but as soon as any foreplay stops, or my penis is not getting touched, my erection will say goodnight. Same happens when I stop for just a few seconds to put on a condom and lube... down it goes.

    I have been able on two occasions to orgasm from sex, from start to finish without losing my erection, but I haven't been able to do it again.

    We had sex again recently, and I didn't even get a chance to have sex because I became too tired. It's pretty hot in the UK at the moment, and I don't do well in the heat anyway.

    My girlfriend did mention that maybe we go through too much foreplay. Like I said, I can get hard from the initial foreplay, and often I'll give her oral sex first, but by then my erection has subsided and is often seldom seen again and can me a long of masturbating just to get it back.

    A (female) friend of mine said it's most likely due to how long I was masturbating for before I finally had sex, and had fallen fowl of the Death Grip, whereby my penis is now used to the grip of my hand, rather than that of a vagina. Makes sense.

    Other than going down the no-fap and no-porn route, is there anything else that can help out? If you need any more info, I'll see what I can do. Ta muchly.

    HI TB, For a start when its hot and sunny get your cloths off and get out in the sun, your body will soak up lots of vitamin D its very good for our sex lives.

    OK For a start you need to change your masturbating grip ASAP, so for get about no fap for now, you need to get your penis thinking right, your penis will get uses to a change over to the feather light touch, add in some baby oil you should be near the feel of a vagina then, at no time do you change back, and slowly over a few weeks it will work for you.

    So that will get you over one problem.

    Your other problem could be down to masturbation, this would depend on how much you have been doing it a day more that how much a week, its guys who masturbate 3 to 4 times a day than a week, watching porn could have shut down your sexual receivers, but then you say you can get an erection but cant hold it or you can through foreplay, you could try with your women getting an erection and having sex then and not wait, but you really do need to concentrate on what your doing and your women's body, and how your enjoying it, then after sex give her foreplay then, but then it will be afterplay but still as good if you want it to be.

    So where you work do you feel stressed and do you bring this stress home with you? because stress is a great sex killer, are you on any meds as some meds are not good for our sex lives.

    How much exercise do you get on a regular basis? do you smoke? do you drink alcohol? are you a fast and junk food lover drunk down with sodas or energy drinks? these are some of the things that not good for our sex lives

      Hello NowHard, thanks for the reply.

      That's not a bad idea. Though it's hot over here, the sun is still seldom seen! I do try to get out in the sun when it's out though.

      Hm, baby oil? I can do that. I've tried it in the past but because my hand always slips off my penis, and I have to keep reposition my hand, it got a but annoying. However, if it's something that could help, even in a small way, I'll definitely give it a go.

      Previously, I'd masturbate once a day, usually right before I'd go to bed as it would help tire me out and Id' feel a bit more relaxed. I don't often masturbate during the day or more than once a day. Yes, I can get erect but quickly lose it without physical stimulation from my myself or my girlfriend. I CAN get erect without touching my penis just through foreplay at the beginning, but after giving my girlfriend oral sex (which I enjoy) it's a bit harder to stay hard.

      We are going to try that... when (and possibly if) I'm erect the next time we have sex, we're going to go straight to it, bypassing foreplay. I don't mind doing afterplay.

      I'm unemployed at the moment, but there are a few stress-related things linked with that... Job Center for one. No meds whatsoever.

      Exercise? Er... not all that much if I'm honest. The most amount of exercise I get is walking around the town center for an hour once or twice a week. Other than that, not much else. I do not smoke or drink any alcohol, only fast food on occasional Saturdays. You got me on energy drinks though, I do tend to drink a lot of Monster.

        Nowhard's advice is excellent! One key issue here may be your cardiovascular development. Vigorous sexual activity can be quite a demanding workout, and if your heart isn't up to it then neither will your penis.

            HI TB time to get off those Monster energy drinks, there very high caffeine and sugar drinks, just found this from jaylabpro.com From time to time, you may need a pick me up. So, many people resort to a shiny silver and blue can that contains a large amount of caffeine and sugar to give them that much needed boost.

            The result: Poor sex drive and a reduce ability to get an erection.

            Energy drinks have become a popular way to pick people up during the day. But here’s the problem and how it impacts your sex life:

            Besides the enormous amount of sugar and caffeine, the can liner may contain a fair amount of BPA.
            BPA – a chemical found in many plastics – may increase your estrogen levels and lower your testosterone levels.

            So get this working and come back and tell your sex life is now great, just one more thing is why your here get some PE exercises going, these will improve your boners and help perhaps get a bigger penis.

              Thanks to all who have posted recently.

              Yeah those Monster drinks are definitely going to be laid off. I do drink far too much of them, I'll admit that straight away.

              That quote you mentioned, about the BPA and can liner etc... I read that on a website just the other day, and can to the conclusions that I probably should reduce the energy drink intake. Irritatingly, the next website I visited said the exact opposite, saying energy drinks are good for your sex life (among other things) because they increase your testosterone levels. I keep reading conflicting opinions on different sites.

              I do drink a lot of water daily, never a day goes by without drinking several bottles worth of water. Other than the energy drinks, it's ALL I drink.

              As for exercise, I'll definitely try to get some of that going. Maybe I should buy a bike again and go for some riding... might have to give swimming a miss as I can actually swim. The water makes me a little nervous, especially if my head goes under.

              Have often thought about the PE exercises, but never gone through with them. Improved boners will be awesome, but not sure my girlfriend will need a bigger penis!

                I have researched natural testosterone improvement but have not seen any evidence energy drinks improve it . In general large amounts of sugar are avoided in testosterone improvement diets .

                    That's what I thought, I didn't really believe the websites that stated energy drinks could increase/improve testosterone levels.

                    I've had a look at the short version of the natural testosterone improvement you posted, I still need to read it in detail. If I do indeed need to know more, I know where to come, thanks.

                      Exercise and sound nutrition helped me when I was still in college. I cleaned up what I ate while simultaneously starting a couch to 5K running program. This addressed a host of issues both related to and not related to sexual health. I advocate, along with NOWHARD and Big Al, to examine the quality of the food you eat as well as getting your body moving.
