  • Recovery after quitting smoking

I was wondering if anyone has any info on recovery times etc from ED after quitting smoking?

I quit smoking and saw improvement within a couple of weeks. I also found cutting sugar out of my diet and exercising increased the improvement. Also google taurine, vitamin c and smoking interesting reading. Smoking makes your arteries inelastic quitting obviously helps as does taurine, vit c, drinking pomegrante juice, eating walnuts, dark chocolate and berries (for the bioflavinoids) etc etc. Smoking also makes your blood thick omega 3's and garlic seem to help here (be careful if you are on medication). Good luck with giving up.

Cool thanks. I'd be particularly interested if anyone knows of any links to studies relating to recovery time and quality of recovery. I searched google for an hour and can't find anything.

An NHS pamphlet i've got says "after 2 weeks men start to experience stronger erections." The half-life of nicotine seems to be like a day, so after that its just a case of getting all the shit out your system.
