About 2 years ago i was punched in the penis area and ever since ive been having severe ed problems. Before i was hit not once in my life did i have an erection problem and every morning i had a raging hard-on now most mornings i dont have an erection but if i do its very weak and lost if i stand up, when im aroused my penis gets to point where its pointing straight out and at that point i lose me erection with out any stimulation, even while masterbating if i go from the laying down position to standing i start to go limp. The few times i am actualy able to get my penis fully hard it is as if its on a hinge at the base of my penis. In sexual situations i do get mild pain in the base/abdoman area of my penis. I have been to several urologists and had all the tests done including 2 ultrasounds and cavernousagram. The 1st ultrasound was done by a radiologist and the injection he gave me did not produce any sort of erection and a venous problem was suggested i do think he injected me incorrectly bc it was the most painful thing i ever experienced in my life it felt like glass passing through my penis and i got an urinary track infection a few days after the injection. I then went to a specialist who perfromed a cavernousagram and no leak of any sort was detected, with that test my penis was fully hard but it was still as if the base of my penis was not supported and on a hinge. I then saw another urologist who did another ultrasound with injection that injection produced about a 3/4 erection but the dr said he gave me a low dose in the injection and that there was no problem with the blood flow in and he also saw no venous leak. He thought it was a physocological problem and recomended i saw a psychologist and i did. I have tried viagra cialis etc they seem to help me get an erection but i still have that problem at the base of my penis, i have also tried anti axiety meds and they helped less then the viagra n that stuff. I soon go back to my urologist for a follow up does anybody have ne suggestions, similar problems or suggestion that could please help me out.

Welcome to the gym plzhlp,
I hear your distress and feel very sad for what happened to you. A lot of people here have been able to cure their ED, though I don't know how many were post-traumatic... Looking at the bright side of your situation, you've had a lot of exams, and none of them showed any abnormality of any sort. The only issue I could think of is a lesions of the penis nerves... The fact that you are able to have erection is encouraging. While there might be a psychological issue at some point, due to the stress generated by your ED (the whole thing worsening in a vicious circle), you could try some of the exercises and supplements you'll find on the gym.
