  • I need suggestions.. very frustrating

    Hey everyone.. first off i'm glad I found this site. I've been researching alot of sites and it seems they are all secretly promoting their own products and it's hard to get an accurate review on some things. So i'm 30 and over the past year I've had problems keeping and sometimes getting hard erections.. If i'm drinking alcohol; I might as well forget it! But lately i've even been struggling getting a semi stiffy (I can get it but I gotta play with it between foreplay and sex and even then it's still only a semi). I've tried some supplements which i'll list below but neither has had any effect on me except for making me feel a very slight dizzy spell.

    Horny Goat Weed with pure MACA: have taken the recommended 1000mg (2pills), and even went up to 3000 mg (6 pills).. I even tried crushing them up before sex for a faster effect... Still nothing from it

    RapidDrive Arginine 5000: have taken the recommended 5000 mg of this, and also 10000 mg... still no effect... although one time i did take it and while masturbating it seemed like it worked, but no effect when it really counts (with a partner)

    I've recently totally cut of my porn watching and masturbating (used to be an every day event before bed) to see if that helps, but it doesn't always. I do have High Cholesterol so i'm sure that has some effect, but i'm not over weight.. if anything i'm under weight (6'0" 145lbs). I'm also a heavy smoker, and was a big soda drinker (i totally cut off the soda and i'm now drinking green tea). I'm going to try some of the tea thats mentioned in the forum, as well as the pepper pills. Any other suggestions? Also, I don't seem to get many erections (semi or not) throughout the day anymore like i used to.. certain times if i'm talking about sex to someone I will get a slight erection for a few minutes then it goes away.. I can't go see the dr as i'm unemployed without health insurance and wouldn't be able to afford any prescription anyway.. i'm looking for a more natural remedy..       Yeah i only really like to have some drinks on certain occasions... My new girlfriend and i started dating friday.. and well i was nervous so I wanted to have a few drinks to allow me to be more calm and be myself.. well it ended up in her room (and what guy is gonna say NO NO NO my penis isn't ready for this) lol... But we went at it again last night and during foreplay i had a decent erection, but then i gave her oral and it went away.. I could see she was ready but of course I wasn't so that added some pressure on me... so i messed with it for a little bit until i could penetrate her and we were able to finally have sex.. but i never really got rock hard... and no i didn't drink 1 drop of alcohol last night

        So you been smoking for a long time? Hellooooo.. Thats gonna kill your lil man. Booze, Cigs, bad food, stress, not sleeping enough = no mr. happy

        Its up to you, do you want to have a good sex life or a cigarrette!

        Nah but seriously, im 24 and ive had some of the same issues and I dont smoke or drink much and I eat super healthy so? I dunno what to say lol Just stay healthy, keep having sex and dont worry about your performance and it will work fine..

          Believe me i'm slowly starting to change my health for the better... taking 1 step at a time... Totally done with soda except when i have some drinks which i'm cutting down to only 1 night a week (i do enjoy having some drinks, i'll just drink when the lady isn't coming over lol). Some of it might also be that i'm not 100% comfortable yet with my new girlfriend.. I guess time will tell.. but i am going to try that tea mentioned in another post today.. getting ready now to go out and buy some stuff for it

            A lifetime of unhealthy diet and habits won't change things in a month by taking a few supplements. But you have taken great steps in that direction by cutting the booze and getting some healthier habits (cut the smoking altogether and you'll be golden!) Give it some time and with consistency, you WILL see big improvements.

              i have to agree with this. I went off the cigs for 3 months recently and my eq was through the roof, im back on them about 2 months and pretty much the week i went back on them i noticed a decline in eq and increased difficulty to get one and maintain it at 100%. WE ALL NEED TO STOP SMOKING!!! oh, i found that when i was off the cigs and drank green tea instead of coffee 1) eq was far better 2) blood pressure was constantly at a perfect score. also green tea is really nice!

                Yeah i plan on quitting cigarettes.. as i said i have high cholesterol and grandfather and dad had strokes in their 40's (high cholesterol as well).. so it's either i stop or i face my fate.. but as we all know it's easier said than done. I'm thinking about going to get hypnotised to quit.. they say that gives the best percentages.. but for now i'm try to cut back drastically

                  Most everyone's been spot-on so far, if not slightly preoccupied with the most obvious factors likely to interfere with EQ, or rather why they interfere. Brek's observation should be convincing in that it suggests a direct corollary between blood pressure and EQ which, I would think, should be a no-brainer for anyone with a rudimentary understanding of the structure of the penis and male sexual arousal.

                  I think it's great that you're on the path to achieving greater physical health overall and I would suggest checking your blood pressure and checking it often. (I have RN's in the family so there's always a cuff around, but those machines at the pharmacy are usually fine, too.) The first thing I would do (aside from trying to eliminate destructive habits like tobacco and alcohol) is find your target heart rate and spend a minimum of 30 minutes per day doing aerobic exercise. It's proven to positively affect circulation and blood pressure.

                  I'm sure every member of this forum would also suggest Kegels. If there is a better way to improve circulation directly to the penis and peripheral tissues, I certainly don't know what it is.

                  Also try eating 3/4 cup of oatmeal every day. I add 3T of wheat germ to mine and sweeten with raw honey. I've personally witnessed this having a surprisingly strong impact on cholesterol, blood pressure, and general health in myself and others. The boron content of honey has also been shown to have a positive affect on testosterone levels.

                  Kingpole's Erection Tea is great! I've been drinking something similar for years and notice a definite difference in EQ with and without. Green tea and foods/herbs/roots that act as vasodilators are very helpful.
