I heard it would be ok to just masterbate of videos of just girls less fantasizing about non - realities

I understand what your saying, i really need to reboot too.
The only time i can keep myself from looking at porn and masturbation is when i am on vacation, so the longest i lasted without waxing my wood is when i was on vacation for 10 day. At home my record is maybe 5 days at most :s
It is so difficult for me not to look at porn, in the past i have kickes some really bad habits too (alcohol, weed, cocaïne,amphetamines, xtc) just like you code_junkie but porn is the most difficult for me.
I don't seem to be abled to abstain from it.

I am really glad i read this, you have no idea how much i recognize myself in it.
I have the same ED problems as you have, and my doctor prescribed me levitra.
But i also dont want to take it for the rest of my life because i am 28 and a healthy person.
So i have decided to reboot too, how difficult it may be.

      Anyway, good luck to you.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.
It's nice to read it actually works for you, it gives me hope to.

Being 28 I would agree you are too young to be depending on levitra. If you have recognized porn affecting your performance, then porn needs to go. Porn is hard to get off, but thousands have.

I'm glad that you can relate so closely to my situation.

I feel that porn has been the most difficult to overcome, by far, out of all of the addictions I've battled in my life. I'm still struggling. Some days are tougher than others.

If you're like me, you find difficulty not with just quitting porn, but controlling yourself in general. In my life, I've always adopted a "I'm gonna do whatever the fuck I want" kind of philosophy (within certain bounds, of course). Because of this habitual behavior becoming engrained into my neurochemistry, things like getting myself to do homework or making sure I get a full night of sleep take a back seat to behaviors like hanging out with my friends and drinking excessively when I have work early the next day.

And it's sad really.. to see that I, in some form or another, lack control of myself. It's so easy for me to choose the path that's immediately pleasurable instead of the one that's safe or a good choice in the long term.

The past year or so, I've come to realize that self-control is SO important. It's something I never put much emphasis on as a personal characteristic, but lately, I feel like it's everyone's primary trait. So I'm trying to gain more and more control of myself every day. It's taking some work, but I'm making good progress.

Just take it one step at a time.. and don't forget to give yourself a pat on the back once in a while.

rebooting means abstinence? how can it help his performances in bed? im not addicted anymore but i do watch it often. So i guess a 60 days abstination could do wonders? i once did 21 and felt like it was huge

wow that guy went almost 80 days without masturbation, what an accomplishment i know i can do it too

Is it okay to jelq while you are on a no porn/masturbation fast? Or will it stimulate the same neural pathways in the brain that will get you "hooked" again?

Also, did anybody here experience the "dead weeks" where it felt like your libido was just gone after not watching porn?

I think the more you abstain from ANYTHING sexual (including touching your penis for any reason except pissing), the more efficient your reboot will be in terms of performance regained per time spent abstaining. Personally, I've chose to put my PE routine on hold until I'm done with this process, but that's only because I'm not currently doing a consistent routine.

If you are, I would suggest continuing your routine. Just avoid masturbation, ejaculation, and fantasizing, and especially porn.

I think MOST people experience this. I feel that this is the recovery process in action! Your brain is so numbed out from the over-stimulation that your libido is nearly nonexistent. You're witnessing firsthand the effects of your neurochemistry reestablishing it's normal dopamine level baseline. From personal experience and reading the accounts of others, your libido should start coming back a few weeks after you started rebooting.

Thanks for the reply, it motivated me a lot.

I wanted to reply faster but the last week i haven't been online much because i knew i would probably end up watching porn
I am now on my 7th day of rebooting.

Yesterday i really felt an urge to wach porn, it lasted troughout the whole day.In the evening i sat behind my pc and had a very hard time not watching porn. I ended up finding enough willpower to shut the thing down and to go to sleep.

Ill post a longer reply soon because i can relate so much to what you say, but i have to think a littlebit how to write it down because its a little difficult for me typing long posts in english. I tried but i ended up deleting it everytime.I also notice i use the word "I" alot

Good luck rebooting, hang in there.
And just know that there are people supporting you on the PEGym forum.

to the OP, how come you are recovering so fast? i guess my situation is Critical. I tried 21 days which isnt that much but believe me 21 days is A LOT.

i need to reboot but ive to stop my porn addiction first which is getting harder and harder
