I am 23 years old and I am not able to get a full erection. I do not know the reason for sure but I think its a result of poor/wrong masturbating habits which I pursued during school days. I used to sit and move my legs in opposite direction so that when they came near during motion, I could feel my penis in between them and it gave me immense pleasure. I did not allow it to get completely erect and constantly pushed it in between my legs to feel the movement and pressure. While doing so, when I felt the urge for ejaculation, I used to cross my legs and trap the penis in between tightly, so that the semen doesn't come out immediately. I later on secreted it while peeing. Slowly I realised that this habit of mine has impaired my penis and I am not able to get a normal erection and even for bringing it to half-erect stage I have to do it by the same leg movement method. I feel extremely embarrassed and depressed at my situation. I haven't visited any doctor and am wondering if anyone has any advice to offer. I don't know if it's just nerves but please help me out. If anyone knows of anything that would help getting an erection that wouldn't require a prescription, that would be awesome as well. All other advice would be sooo appreciated. This problem is really frustrating and embarrassing, which is why I'm resorting to a more anonymous approach. Thanks.

My suggestions:
1. Leave your dick alone for a few weeks. Hopefully this will make you pretty horny but try not to masturbate for lets say 2-3 weeks.
2. In the mean time you may want to start a kegel/reverse kegel routine. These are basically workouts that strengthen the muscle you use for and erection. Either way they are a smart thing to start doing because they can also make orgasms feel better and make your ejaculate go further.
3. Start taking some vitamins. Ginseng, Ginkgo Biloba, Green tea extract, Horny goat weed, maca, and L-Arginine are the main ones that should help increase blood flow and sex drive.
4. Start lifting weight and doing cardio daily. This should help with blood flow and boost your confidence.
5. Make sure you are getting 8 hours of sleep.
6. Try to relax. Stress and anxiety are huge erection killers. Yoga and meditation are some good methods. You can also start taking vitamins like 5-HTP that help produce serotonin.
7. Optional: you may want to consider doing a mild jelqing routine or pumping to get more blood to the penis.

Thank you for the advice. I have started doing PC Blaster exercise for last 2 weeks. The PC Blaster Moreover I am also taking Ashwashila, a combination of Ashwagandha and Shilajit daily. I expect to double my dose soon. Though my penis feels a little healthy, but there is no improvement yet in the erection. I forgot to mention one thing in my previous post. I can ejaculate even when I am not erect. I recently made a girlfriend and tried having intercourse with her, but despite my earnest efforts I just could achieve an erection. I can achieve partial erections when I am sitting, and if I press my penis gently from above my erections get slightly better. I have been researching for ED solutions like a fanatic. But I haven't been able to find a case similar to me and its treatment solutions. I would be glad if somebody suggests me further in this regard. I will be updating my status regularly. Moreover I feel my corpora spongiosum is damaged due to which it does not get filled with blood and hence my penis is downward bent. Please help me. I guess everyone knows that there can be no poor feeling than to know that you are impotent.

Two or three weeks is too long. You should ejaculate a couple of times a week to stay healthy! So try a few days without masturbaing. Try quitting porn and anything you are relying on to get an erection.

I have read a lot about jelqing but as far as my knowledge goes, jelqs are performed in semi erect state. However I cannot even maintain a semi erect stage while standing for a long time. Can anybody suggest me any particular user in this forum who has successfully tackled his ED problem? Or any andrologist or urologist in this forum, who can advise me regarding how to approach the problem. I would be grateful to every user who can share some advice with me. I am also considering surgery as an option, as I believe that my problem has something to do with the trauma my penis was subjected during my weird masturbation habits. Any advice in this regard would be extremely appreciated.

If you follow the advice that TJM gave you you will be able to get erections eventually I promise! Tons of people here have cured their ED through similar methods. Thanks for your encouraging words. I will religiously follow the advices given by TJM and would update all improvements in my condition. I am also going after few ayurvedic proven herbs like Shilajit, Chandraprabha and yaunamrit.. I hope to get rock solid erections so that I can satisfy my girlfriend as she has been very supporting in my problem.
Apart from that, is it possible to treat/repair damaged penile tissues. If yes, then what additional exercises would I have to perform? Please guide me if possible.

anyway we're about the same age, and believe it or not, i was doing that masturbation method ever since i learned how to masturbate.
the thing is when i was 18, i realized it might be one of the cause of my ED. so i decided to learn how to masturbate the normal way(when i first tried to masturbate the normal way, i couldn't feel any pleasure and i couldn't cum, but i tried and tried and now im normal, i couldn't go back to that old way again)
now i still have ED, but im sure its porn induced, and its only minor because i've had successful sex just a few months ago, although there are times that my ED is acting up. goodluck to you bro!

I am not an expert on ED. I have low EQ sometimes due to my hanging routine.
What I did was buy some generic Viagra and use a very small amount before intercourse.
The reason I offer this advise to you is for a test per se. Use it to see if you have any real underlying problems with veinous leakage etc.
It's possible that you may simply have trained your mind and body that erections happen using your old masturbation method with the crossed legs.
The V might stimulate and "wake up" the right neural pathways and hopefully bingo. It's not expensive and it is easy to get. I have only used 4 - 100 mg tablets in 1 month. I cut them into 4 pieces.

I posted my problem on a website named Herballove.com in order to seek some expert's advice. They told me that my "penile parasympathetic nervous endings in the arteries have been severely damaged from over-masturbation. The brain's acetylcholine and parasympathetic nervous systems cannot signal the penile arteries to dilate to sustain an erection."
Though they have also provided solution in the form of two herbal medicines, however I am quite skeptic about it. Moreover since I live in India, I will not be able to procure them. Does anyone has any experience or knowledge regarding the neurological reasons for ED? I have been doing Kegel and mild stretching and massage of my penile muscles. And my penis feels a little healthy. Not with the erection part, but just the overall well being.
