  • Tesosterone Levels

Just had a bloodtest to check my tesosterone levels
    Came back as 11.9
Can anyone explain what this means,is it a good or bad level.
    Im 38 and fairly active

Im assuming 11.9 nmol? anywhere from 8-36 is considered normal, but some might considered you on the low side. Do you have low testosterone side affects? your doctor didn't explain what your levels meant?

In all honesty I would consider you perfectly normal despite the wide range

Exogenous testosterone should be avoided at your age. If you introduce additional T through shots or gel it will probably cause your testes to produce less natural testosterone which may in turn result in atrophy of your testicles. Accordingly, it may take a while to return them to normal, if at all, if you stop the replacement treatment.
