    The fact is.. if u have low hrt you should be educated enuff to use the medications wisely...

    You obviously shouldn't be making contact with children or swimming in public pools when you've just put this stuff on.

    So with health insurance u only need 2 pay 45monthly?
    Do you get injections or the androgel? What were your test levels?

      Correct on the payment part. I use Testim 1% which is a gel like Androgel but which has better absorption. I don't recall my test numbers, but they were around 300, maybe a little below.

              Sorry for the double post.

              My levels fluctuated, sometimes low.. and the highest was 500.

              Idk, I guess I just find natural remedies until the day something is done about it.

                Don't be passive about it. Ask your doctor why s/he doesn't think your condition merits HRT. Read up enough so you can have a discussion where you have information to contribute to the conversation. Don't be afraid to push your case the him/her. It's your life, after all.

                      Wow a lot of good info there! I had my MRI on Friday ... didn't realize I was so clostrophobic! Yikes! Made it through only by thinking about sex and keeping my eyes shut 100% of the time.

                          Well through visualization I can get erect to about an EQ of 6, maybe 7. Takes about 5 minutes. If this will help raise testosterone I'll try to do it once every couple hours as time permits at work.

                              Good post.

                              For someone experiencing naturally low levels the best things that is going to help from that list is #1 lifting heavy, compound exercises. #2 diet and #3 sleep.

                              The supplements/herbs probably won't do anything. I've tried them all. I believe these tips are most helpful for someone who has normal test levels.. they could help boost them even a little higher.

                              Its pretty cool that u can acheieve an erection thru visualization. I can't do that very ofte

                              Doctor wasn't me to try a viagra for my next couple of sexual encounters and see if it helps... then he wants me to stop taking them and see how things are...

                              Meeting up in two weeks to discuss the results and possibly get refereed to a specialist.

                              He seems like a much more intelligent doctor than I'm used to seeing. He said he realyl doent like viagra or like prescribing it.. he said once I take it a few times it may comfort me and get rid of the psychological aspect of my e.d, but he definitley doesn't want me to take it regularly.. he just wants to narrow down my problem and fix it

                                Other benefits of testosterone therapy

                                In the current edition of the Cleveland Clinic's Men's Health Advisor there is an item titled "Testosterone replacement improves metabolic syndrome, liver function." Here's what it says:

                                Middle-aged and older men with testosterone deficiencies my benefit from testosterone replacement therapy. A study present at The Endocrine Society's annual meeting in June suggests that the therapy improves the metabolic syndrome (a group of risk factors for cardiovascular disease and diabetes) and fatty liver disease in men with low testosterone.

                                The researchers found that restoring testosterone to normal levels in 122 men, ages 36-69, led to improvements in the men's weight, waist size and body mass index, and reduced their levels of C-reactive protein, a marker of inflammation linked to increased cardiovascular risk. Among the 47 men diagnosed with metabolic syndrome at the beginning of the study, 36 no longer had this diagnosis after two years of testosterone therapy, the researchers reported. Additionally, the men's liver function improved during the first year-and-a-half of the treatment, according to the study.
