  • erection problem

Basically I injured the penis whilst masturbating 6 days ago. At the time I didn't feel any pain and still don't, just some numbness towards the base. I can't get 100% erect and when I do get erect it needs constant stimulation. I should also point out that when flaccid the penis still sits at the same angle it did before, so I don't think I've done any major damage. The one clue I have is that the underside of the penis towards the base seems to have a loss of feeling (the rest of the penis is normal) and when I'm trying to get erect it's like the blood just won't go through this area. Another thing I noticed when standing up in front of the mirror semi-erect is that the penis appeared slightly bent and I think this has been caused by something damaged at the base.

I'm not really sure how serious this is. It might be one of those things where you just have to wait a few weeks until you get better. I've looked around on a few other threads and can't find somebody else whose problem matches mine so I thought I'd start a new thread to address this.

Sounds like you may have some minor nerve damage. Nerves tend to heal themselves over time. Take a break from forceful exercises but try some light jelqing and kegeling to force some fresh oxygenated blood into the penis. Oxygenated blood assists the healing process.

I think you're right about it being a waiting game. Some progress to report: sides of the shaft are now softer than before and not long after starting this thread yesterday I got a spontaneous erection in bed. It went away almost immediately but I take it as a good sign because it was the first spontaneous I'd had since the injury. I can also stop urinating mid-flow so I know it's definitely not a pelvic issue.
