    Hi room,
    I am a 30 year old male in otherwise excellent physical health and strength. I have a very proper diet, in fact, many people think I am a freak because I eat so well. I hit the gym 2- 3x a week for a 90 minute full body weight training session and I swim laps for 45 minutes 2- 3x a week on top of that.

    However, I have been dealing with a very embarrassing, humiliating, and frustrating issue for a few years now and I am just now trying to get some advice on it as I hoped it would just go away. My problem is with my erections and their quality, or lack thereof. I have a very healthy sex drive.. there is no loss of sexual appetite. In fact, some days, I seem to be insatiable. But my penis is just not hard enough. Most times it is not enough even for penetration, which has caused a lot of grief and has ended some relationships sourly. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/frown.gif

    I don't think it is a biological problem because, sometimes, I am able to get a full hard on. However, it doesn't last but 30 seconds and then I go semi hard again. Even when I am by myself, it is still in a partially limp state, all the way to orgasm.

    This is my first step in what I am sure is going to be a very long, involved process to get my manhood back. Any further advice, information, books, videos, etc. you can give, will ensure you have excellent karma!

    But, I want to make clear, I do NOT want to have to resort to pills, medicine, or even herbal remedies (I've tried some different herbs at Chinese markets, they did not work). I am 30 years old for God's sake, and an otherwise virile healthy young man, so I know there is a way out of this.

    Start a kegel/reverse kegel routine.

      Suggest a medical check for circulation issues.
      If that isn't an issue then as imac suggests a kegel/rk routine.

        I agree with the above. A strict jelqing/kegeling routine can work wonders
        in bringing your rock hard woodies back. I regained my eleven o'clockers
        after just a month of the above--at age 64.

          I also agree with the others. A good kegel/jelqing routine should bring back your wood as long as you don't have any other medical issues. I can relate to what you said about the lack of hardness causing problems with relationships. A few years ago I was having the same problem. The Mrs. was thinking I wasn't attracted to her anymore since I couldn't get as hard as I used to. She was beginning to doubt herself and it just killed me knowing what it was doing to her. Turns out it was just me working too hard and also the onset of a low testosterone problem. I never lost my sexual drive either which I thought might happen. After the "T" problem was resolved, my erections returned but occasionally not as good as I had. I noticed that when that would happen, it was a little while after I started neglecting my routine. Back to the routine, back to rock hard woodies. Might want to have your "T" checked. Have you noticed a harder time gaining muscle or losing some muscle tone you already had?

            Hi MacDaddyBook, welcome! I don't usually post on these but I noticed you made a emphatic comment about being healthy and eating healthy. So my two cents from what my hubby MrLooking experienced that might apply since we also had a very healhy diet. So healthy in fact that he was getting too much estrogen in his diet and that collaborated on his testosterone being low. We still have a healthy diet but now, we make sure our healthy stuff does not have a lot of soy. Just something to think about. The rest is as he said above. Good luck and Happy New Year!

              Another thing I forgot to mention was allergies. My brother was about your age at the time he experienced low "T". He had a very healthy diet. He wasn't eating any red meat, but turns out he was allergic to chicken. In him it manifested itself as low testosterone and psoriasis/eczema. Another thing to think about. Hope it helps.

                Hi Mac,

                You failed to mention if you have been doing PE and for how long. You said you didn't want to try the herbs/remedies but if you work out why not? I don't know what your diet is but do you consume enough protein/carbs sufficient for your workouts? I had the same problem as you and started taking argenine around 9-10 pm and usually have sex between 11-midnight and my EQ are through the roof. I also started getting middle of the night woods and morning that would wake me up. You may try this but if your dead set on not taking the herbs maybe your body needs them as its lacking. Would help with the blood flow! If your not doing the JP90 its a start. Then add some edging and kegals into the mix. I am 41 and has done wonders for me!                   There is a common mistake of guys always linking low testosterone to ED and low EQ. TTT plays a role of "sexual motivation/libido". It has nothing to do with the erection itself or its quality. It has nothing to do with blood flow. Its role is only in sexual motivation/drive/libido. So in situations like the OP where the libido is very OK but the erection isn't working, the problem is elsewhere. Blood does not flow to the dick in the right amounts when it is needed, regardless of libido. The question we ask is "why"? There are 2 possible answers. The first off-course being a developing venous problem created by an underlying issues like Diabetes. But in situations like this there would be consistency in the lack of/poor erections. And so when the guy can have strong erections on some occasions like night time but poor at times of sex, then we look to the second possible cause. Which is a psychological problem that interferes with the mind's control of the sexual response cycle, preventing blood flow/rigidity.

                  Although as others have already posted, penis exercises like jelqing/edging have shown an ability to enhance blood retention capabilities in the penis shaft. Also, kegeling has shown ability to help in enhancing rigidity in erections ONCE the blood has already gone to the penis in the first place, meaning that if blood is not flowing down and retaining then the strength of the PC muscle is irrelevant. So yes, jelqing/edging and kegeling can help enhance the quality of your erections but you must confirm why you are having poor blood flow in the first place. To rule out underlying physiological causes you would have to get a a physical check up from a uro/neuro. If clean then look at the possibility of mental/emotional interference.

                    Wow, really good points all around.

                    Regarding PE, I have never done it before, and recently found out about it. I bought a weighted kegal trainer that I have been using and I have noticed some strength in my perineum. However, not much has changed in my erection quality, but I have not been doing the exercises regularly either.

                    On a side note, my penis is 7" at it's hardest, however, it has a curve upward and to the left. I would like to straighten it out. Are there exercises for this? Also, a little extra length and girth never hurt, but at this point just having full erections would be more than enough to satisfy me.
                    imac recommended a kegal and reverse kegal routine. How often should these be done, and how many reps?

                    Another thing to mention, I don't even remember when the last time was I woke up with morning wood.

                    I made an appt. with a general doctor the end of jan. and I am looking to get hormone tests and allergy tests. A poster said something about being allergic to chicken and causing a testosterone imbalance- funny, sometimes when I eat chicken, my hands get red and itchy. Could be an allergy I never knew about! From there I will be referred to a urologist for a doppler scan and to further discuss potential physiological problems.
                    In regards to soy products, I do mix in a cup of soymilk a few times a week with my protein shakes, but i don't eat much tofu or soy other than that.

                    A little over a month ago I started weight lifting again. I understand that developing your pectorals and glutes will boost testosterone. I am already seeing great results in my build so from here on out there is only one way to go and that is UP.

                    Regarding herbs, I bought a couple of very expensive bottles of male impotency pills at Chinese herbal stores and they did not work. However, I have done some research on butcher's broom and ginko for blood circulation and will be trying those out. I just don't want to have to rely on very expensive herbs in order to have sex!

                    So.. one of the reasons I posted on this forum was to also learn about these PEs. Is there a beginner's course? lol

                      Good luck with the tests. Hopefully they will shed some light on what is going on. Here is the link to the "beginners course" https://www.pegym.com/forums/beginne...r-routine.html. Sounds like you have an allergy to chicken but who knows if that is the cause of your problem. After my brother stopped eating chicken, his T was right back to normal. In his case, he was eating chicken every day though. In all the reading I have done about low T, it turns out soy is bad for a man especially if he has low T. If it turns out you have low T, you can substitute almond milk for your soy milk. I think it tastes so much better. I had to make the switch myself since I suffer from it still. I haven't found the cause of mine yet so I just take shots to control it for now. Welcome to the gym and let us know what you find out.

                        What about taking a break from masturbation? Typically I do it once or twice a day. Also, I did watch a lot of porn, so maybe that disconnected me from the reality of sex. I want to cut off porn and only masturbate twice a week. It seems to have worked for some other guys out there.

                          Ok Mac that's an important factor you left out. Masturbation twice a day and lots of porn will cause your problem. You need to start the JP90 routine and stick to it. You cant miss any of the routines and cant do it half assed. At this point only you can fix your ED problem. You may go to the Doctor and have all the test done and he may tell you that your results are fine. But then again it wouldn't hurt just for your own piece of mind. I would say cut your masturbation down and leave out the porn for a month. Do a regular routine (JP90) and then see what happens.

                          As far as straightning out your dick. Why? I mean we are the same length and I hit the G spot with my upward curved dick. Your not trying to jack hammer the pussy your trying to hit spots that are more sensitive. If your only trying to make it straight for the tape that's the wrong way to go. Do as I said above get some Argenine and report back in a month I bet you have some good results as far as your progress. "IN IT TO WIN IT"

                            I am not that concerned with the upward curve, but rather the curve to the left. I could live with it, I just think it looks weird.
                            I am going to start the beginner's routine today which is perfect since I can easily track my results and it makes a great new years resolution.

                              I have been doing the beginner exercises every other day for about a month now and I am noticing some improvement.. erections appear to be stronger. So far so good! And earlier today I had lab tests done to check my T levels etc. to see if there are any underlying causes for erection losses. I will be getting the results in a few days. I am feeling a lot better and more confidence in myself since my first post.
