    Hi guys;

    I'm a newcomer, and I had promised myself not to open a thread so soon. But the fact is that can't find info on this, in fact I've discovered this forum when searching further info on long kegels. I've been aware that kegels were good to improve EQ for a long time but I can't seem to get any benefit out of them. As a consequence I've been trying to practice different kegel routines on and off for the last few month with little to no success; frustrating and discouraging. I feel some long kegels could be extremely beneficial- and yet I can't pull any. The reason why I think long kegels could improve my EQ is that I have been able on very rare occasions ( like twice in my life) to cum by only contracting my kegel with almost no hand stimulation or any other muscle involved, and those have been the best orgasms of my life- and by far. Just body-shaking, mind-blowing. And after that my dick just would stay 90% hard, I could definitely have kept on polishing my rod but I was too exhausted from the orgasm.

    (I want to add that I've been doing all I could in all the other domains in order to help with my EQ, so before you ask: I'm healthy, non-smoker, I take L.-arginine, Ginseng, Gingko, Maca, B vitamins, magnesium, zinc etc.. I don't drink any alcohol, I exercise not all the time but walk a lot and use my bicycle a lot as well, I eat very healthy, organic fruits and vegetables, etc... I've also layed off the occasional porn 2 month ago, etc... my point being that I'm healthier than all the people I know, and I'm making lots of efforts to improve this particular aspect (EQ) of my life and it all has yet to pay. Note: I haven't stopped masturbating/ having sex though.)


    It seems the longest kegels I'm able to pull are 2 seconds at best. I've searched extensively how to improve this but I harvested very little usable help. When I read about some of you guys holding your PC muscle for several minutes I get really envious ! It seem I have the best control of my dick-muscle when I'm fully erected so I usually try the kegels while masturbating. Some guy somewhere suggested putting a sock or a towel to help but that's just not an option when my erection level is at 6/10. I 've been able to isolate my pc muscle when wanking but it requires an incredible amount of concentration not to contract my abs / buttocks/ thigs while trying make my glans hard. (That's my biggest problem: my glans is soft most of the time. I can get a pretty rigid shaft but we all know what makes the diff for the girl is the stiffness of the head . At least in my experience, having a hard, blood-filled glans i.e. going from a 8 to a 10 in EQ makes me a 300% better lover)

    People say it usually takes some time to be able to make long kegels but I've been trying for a while... I must be overlooking something.
    So, what kind of trick could I use to get at least a kick-start in pulling long kegels?
    I 've read I should squat while doing them, haven't tried it yet. Any success ?
    Should I stop masturbating? I'm don't know.

    I'm able to stop the urine flow for as long as I want as many times as I want when I pee and yet I see no improvement in my kegels. I seem to have read all that could be written about kegels so I'm turning to you guys !

    Consistent work will improve kegel strength.

      When I do long kegel holds I contract the muscle slowly while in a comfortable position. Also it may feel as thou it relaxes keep holding for a few more seconds. Stopping masterbation is bad, but limiting yourself to once a week is best. It should help to raise your EQ and allow you to better feel kegels during an erection.

          Okay. Like I said I 've been trying for a long time. When you say " consistent work " do you mean the stretching and the jelquing ? That I do, but not being able to really kegel during the stretches, I feel like doing half the job. Guess I'll keep trying...

            Consistently doing the kegel you feel you can not hold, will help you create endurance like with any other muscle. I understand your frustration when I started to do female kegels, I could not eve feel my pelvic muscle contract at all. I had to literally insert and object in to my vagina to be able to focus on something to feel the kegel or do the urinary method (which I hated). I have been doing kegels for years now and now I can hold unto small BenWa balls. I don't know if there is anything than men can use to similarly focus your kegel.

            Another thing that helped me was to relax about it, I was so tense trying to feel the kegel that to my detriment I actually was tensing the pelvic floor. For me doing all those exercises was not for fun, I had to do it to repair injuries from a car accident where I broke my pelvis in 7 places. Kegels for me are a way of life, like it or not I have to do them in order to keep my pelvis healthy, I no longer keep the natural elasticity due to injuries incur due to the accident.

            Have you read the WebMd article on male Kegels by Sheldon Marks, MD.? Is full of great information and links for more info from other Dr. If you have not read it here is the link http://men.webmd.com/kegel-exercises...y-incontinence The exercises are the same for regular kegels as for male urinary incontinence. Once you are able to stop the flow while urinating, you should be able to do them without having to urinate to feel your pelvic floor muscles. This is how I started my female kegels, I see is the same for males.

              Thanks for your input and encouragement. I'm going to read the article right now. Like you, I hate the "urinary" method but it seems to be about the only thing that works. I'll try to relax, do my jelqs and not worry about kegels for the next few days.

              BTW 7 fractures, wow. That must have been a really brutal accident. Hope you're fine !
