  • ED problems

    Hello,
I am new to the site, I am a 29 year old bisexual male; and i have recently started having ED problems. I have been with 15 women and 3 men, and with the last two women, i have had occasional ed problems. Now that i am starting to date a women that i really like, i am having a hard time getting it up when we fool around, though we haven't tried to have sex yet. I have been a porn addict for several years and have always been a once a day masturbator, I'm almost certain i have desensitized myself through porn and masturbating. I've read alot of info on this site and here is my plan to get my shit together.

    1. I'm going cold turkey on internet porn.

    2. I'm starting a healthy diet

    3. daily exercise.

    4. good rest

    5. and the " 5 g's"

Now, some questions for the group.

When i purchased the "5 g's", i was only able to find odorless garlic, is this ok?

I was not able to find "ginger caps", only "ginger root", same thing? the label says it relieves motion sickness

I have read a glass of red wine a day is good for sexual health, is this true?

what kind of masturbation habbits/ schedule should i keep? (i.e., how often, should i use my imagination instead of porn? )

thanks for everyone's help, i'll keep the group posted on my progress

We seem to be kindred spirits. Here are my suggestions...

I've taken supplements (like the 5 g's). While I cannot deny that they have brought more life (blood) to my penis, they did not aid me in getting an erection. This is the first step I took to beating ED and realized that something else must be going on. In supplement conclusion, I would continue taking them if they seem to be working, but the price wasn't worth it for me.

There have been a million theories on what a glass of wine a day will or won't do for your health, sexual and otherwise. I personally don't see this making a difference. "One" glass may help lower anxiety and put you in the mood, but over consumption of alcohol has been proven to cause sexual health problems... though I think a lot of us are hoping to have some drunk sex again once we cure this ED.

I would recommend not masturbating at all for as long as you can and then limiting yourself to only once a week or less. There is science behind how often you cum and your sexual libido. In relation to this, quitting porn is a great idea. I would strongly recommend checking out Your Brain On Porn | Evolution has not prepared your brain for today's Internet porn . It has a ton of valuable information taken from a scientific stance.

A healthy diet and exercise is ALWAYS a great choice for mental, physical, and sexual health!

Meditation is a great way to rid yourself of anxiety and form a strong mind-body connection. This can aid in getting erect and is healthy in MANY other ways.

Also, incorporating a PE (penis exercise) routine would be a great idea. I've noticed more life in my penis after only a few PE sessions. It's quite amazing really.

Lastly, I have begun a journal of my progress in curing ED and I am incorporating much of the above information into my treatment process. Please follow along here: My Journey & Solutions For ED: YBOP & Beyond . I would encourage you to not only respond to my journal with your own personal journey, but also to join the community at Your Brain Rebalanced - Index for more advice on PIED (porn induced erectile dysfunction).

Good luck and best wishes. We're too young for this shit!
