Hey all, was just reading something on the web that stated if you take a zinc supplement everyday, your libido will be through the roof. Is that true? Just a zinc pill a day?? I don't have ED problems but I want to be horny all the time like when I was younger..... I'm 47. If you had to pick one pill or a two pill combination of supplements......... what would you suggest????? Thanks!!

Just remember too much zinc is a nuerotoxin; nerves really hate having too much of it!The world's still a toy if you just stay a boy!

I've been taking zinc pills for years (sometimes at high doses!) and they haven't done anything for my libido whatsoever.Hey all, was just reading something on the web that stated if you take a zinc supplement everyday, your libido will be through the roof. Is that true? Just a zinc pill a day??
They have been beneficial in some respects, but not as far as libido is concerned

Too much zinc could cause anemia, by either depleting the body of Iron and/or copper which in turn could cause ED or lower libido.Originally posted by needingalift View PostI've been taking zinc pills for years (sometimes at high doses!) and they haven't done anything for my libido whatsoever.

Zinc is needed to maintain proper T levels; however, higher levels of zinc will not generate higher T levels. As mentioned above, higher levels of zinc could have negative side effects. According to the first link in MrB8's post, 11 mg is about the recommended daily requirement to maintain proper levels.Valued Member of 12+ years at the PEGym12/'09 (start) NBP EL - 4.5, EG - 4.4
