I'm pretty sure the reason for this is porn (like 95% sure).
I had chances with girls in the past. ED, low libido and nonexistent self esteem ruined everything. This is tearing me appart right now.
I've tried to get rid of porn addiction for a year now and had some limited success. My best streak was ~130 days and it ended 3 weeks ago.
The relapse lasted just one day. I ejaculated 4 times without touching my penis, just by watching hardcore (hideous) porn. The problem is, I was only ~30% hard all the time and this scares the bejesus out of me. Also, when I have a wet dream, I get only 30% hard. My morning wood is pretty decent lately (75%+), so I don't think I have any 'mechanical' problems.
Now, I am pretty convinced that the reason for this rather odd situation is a decade of porn use and masturbation with intense kegeling. The only way I can get hard is when I edge for a long time (it doesn't have to be to porn, I used to masturbate to fantasy as well).
I would like to know if you guys have any suggestions for me, besides quitting porn for good.
1.
Could my situation be explained by pelvic floor imbalance, caused by years of intense kegeling while masturbating? Is it a case of premature ejaculation?
I started to do reverse kegels three weeks ago and I think my morning wood has improved slightly (hope that's not a placebo). I plan to start normal kegels also in a week or two. Is this smart? Any suggestions?
2.
Could my situation be improved by focused meditation, as explained in Meditative Treatment for Erectile Dysfunction?
Maybe my brain is just not used to produce an arousal erection without manual stimulation/kegeling.
3.
Could finding a girl speed up recovery, as hypothesized by some people on Your Brain Rebalanced - Index?
4.
Also, I have a generally low mood for a number of years now (depression?). Could this explain my situation? Would vigorous exercise help restore neurochemical balance in the brain and increase my libido?
I am aware that nobody can answer these questions completely. I am asking for opininions, experiences and support.
Best regards
