  • Natural testosterone boosters?

What is people's opinions on natural testosterone boosters? Most seem to based around D-Aspartic acid & claim to help by making the pituitary gland produce more LH. Do they actually work?

Why? Are you low on T or just trying to get extra and for what reason?

Really interested to know if they actually work, always better to have more test than less right? I'm waiting for my results for testosterone levels.

No it is not better to have more. More than what your body needs causes bad things to happen.

What sort of bad thing's can happen? Can taking D-Aspartic based supplements create too much by increasing your LH levels?

Just google ; excess or too much testosterone. Quite a list. Body hormones should not be messed with for no reason.

Ok I've read that too much can cause problems, but how do you know if you have too much or too little as it varys so much from person to person? If you have a low libido is that a sign of low testosterone, or can there be other things that can cause low libido?

When one tears the head off the boss...... That would be an indication of to much. If you find that your levels are ok and you want more test in your system try squats. That exercise is the one that brings the most gains with the least amount of different exercises. I have used many things over the counter in my athletic in devours ,but have settled in on a few that are great for recovery. Protein, L-Arginine, L-Glutamine and in season now and then Creatine. As for boosting test I have never found anything that I would say worked from over the counter. TAAB

                  - Eat well, don't deprive yourself, make sure you get enough nutrients everyday.
                  - Exercise 5 times a week.
                  - Quit Smoking, if you do.
                  - Take supplements, if you are deficient, especially vitamin D and zinc (both act as estrogen inhibitors too BTW)
                  - Don't deprive your body from dietary fat (Monounsaturated, Saturated), they are used to synthesize testosterone by the body, in combination with other nutrients make sure you get 30% of your daily calories from fat, it also lowers the glycemic index of your meal.
                  - Avoid estrogenic foods (like soy) and chemicals (xenoestrogens).
                  - Eat cruciferous vegetables such as cabbage and broccoli, they are packed with nutrients, and help the body rid of extra estrogen.
                  - Eat garlic powder, and onions.
                  - Avoid sugar and stress, both increases cortisol which in turn diminishes testosterone.
                  - Have sex, or at least think about it everyday yes it does raise testosterone.
                  - Sleep Well, for 8 hours everyday.

Actually having higher end of the natural range than lower is much healthier and better for you. Having low testosterone has worse effects. Any testosterone you can reach by small things like d-aspartic acid which might help raise it will not be too high to hurt you ... There isn't an amount your body "needs" that if gone above will cause negative effects. To say that just shows ignorance of how it all works. If anything there's a glass floor not a ceiling on what you need before major negative effects occur. You always post as if you're an authority on every subject ... You're an administrator but it doesn't mean you're an administrator on life. Even taking steroids is usually safe for the vast majority of people. The media oversells it's dangers. Yup you're right. Talked to my friend Steve last night, 46 years old. Seems that the boy needs a new hip due to steroid use that comprised the blood flow to his hip and gave hip a necrotic hip. You guys remember Bo Jackson? Great athlete, used too much juice, can't play no more! Yup all safe; hell we should start giving them to kids!

Oh moving up! Don't you think this is dangerous advice to be blasting out over an open forum? I mean there are very young members here that more than likely admire some of your post and so you have to be careful about what you say to them.

Oh my dear child, how silly of you to say that. Do you not understand of that of which you are dealing? These are highly educated guys that promote the safety and benefits of steroids. They have spent years studying in colleges and universities. Long hours have they studied pharmacology, biochemistry, human anatomy and physiology, histology just to name a few. Many of them have advanced degrees in their fields involving human health. They have thousands of clinical hours studying the affects of steroid use on the body, the pros, the cons. I do admire them greatly. No these are not the ignorant jerks of the world that google something or see a movie and become experts and they advice they give, although they really know nothing, my cause harm to others. No those type don't come here. They go to other forums. Nope what we have here are highly educated, trained, intelligent members with tons of wisdom and experience so if I were you I would believe everything they say!

( and if I get the lip I think I'm going to get for this someone will be at the other forums because they won't be here. Yup I'm a bully!)

Intense compound exercises like squats and deadlifts will boost T levels.
