I have most likely over worked my unit and now feel less sensitive on my penis when I masturbate and even when getting head. Is this permanent? Will it go back to normal? Is so how and is there anything I can do for recovery? I can still get hard it just takes way longer

OK then. Now that we know what actually caused your problem a lot of the speculation is out. Numbness is usually caused by not warming thoroughly. Or maybe your penis had too much. I got it a few months back and I can tell you it sucks. It was the result of doing dry jelqs without warming up. The only thing that can help you right now is rest (that includes not jerking off, or getting erections, or checking to see if it's better) for at least a week, warm up (optional, I didn't do it), and a B complex supplement. Depending on the severity of your injury, it may take from a few days to a few months to heal completely. Mine took around a week. Just let it be, take your B complex supplement and let your body do all the healing. It WILL get better. Have a positive mindset and get your mind off of anything penis related for a week.

Sounds like you just slightly overtrained. Take a few day break where you do no PE and see how it is then. Don't edge to orgasm in those days either. I recently had the same problem but have been releasing every day anyway, so recovery came a lot slower. I'm still kind of having it, but I decided to continue PE since I think that the problem is that I've been releasing too often without giving myself enough to recover (following an intense kegel workout after not having trained the muscles for about a week).
Another thing I'd recommend is to slowly edge to the PONR and stop without orgasming, as that will probably make you hornier and raise EQ and sensitivity later. You can do that for two days and then bring yourself to orgasm on the third day, following minuteman's three day routine: https://www.pegym.com/forums/prematu...y-routine.html.
But definitely take a few days off from PE and don't edge yourself to orgasm until you're back to normal to avoid further decreasing arousal levels and sensitivity. And as I said, edging without orgasm will raise arousal levels and sensitivity later; just don't overdo it.
EDIT: I agree with kirkoloft that the best thing right now is to just leave it alone. Doing your warmup would also help boost recovery by increasing bloodflow.

Thanks for the advice guys, I'd rather have my same ole dick then a used up PE dick. And I'm turtling a bit as well but that could be from the anxiety this is giving as well as me quiting smoking weed (which is why I quit, because it messed with my anxiety) and thanks again I'll be 100% sure to follow this advice in hopes for a fast recovery
