I just called a call from my urologist yesterday. They have a new treatment for peyrones. My dick has a slight curve besides up i goes just slightly left not enough to cause any problems tho. They have a new drug xiaflex it goes in as an injection they said it has great results compared to all other treatments. they asked if i would try it. I checked my insurance company covers it good thing because the cost is way up there. even if the medical insurance doesnt cover it my prescription insurance covers it i would just pay the co pay which for one month is 37.33 or 112.00 for 3 momth good thing because the price without insurance is over 3000 for a month or over 10,000 for 3 months supply it goes to your doctor only he has to go thru special training to be approved to administer it they numb the penis 1st before injecting it

the test results showed it worked pretty good better than any other to date it is better than surgery which has bad side effect it is such a new proceedure i am waiting for the doctor office to get a proceedure code to give the insurance company to make sure is covered at 100% of cost but just in case is not i can go thru prescription insurance and is covered that way

I know that with the surgery you can lose like an inch from your penis, does this new treatment affect the size or not?

Have you tried natural source vitamin E?

This has been a standard treatment for years. I had PD years ago and it went away with about 3 months of daily natural source vitamin E usage.

it wont affect size at all since it is only an injection. it was only in testing stage until now only 2 doctors in our area is trained in it and are allowed to do it it is strictly regulated

I decided to post my reply to a PM as I've had a couple more PMs with similar questions and I believe that this info is useful to others:

"I had it about 15 years ago similar to your case and it was quite painful when fully erect. I did a bit of research and came upon a book written by an urologist where he recommended taking vitamin E orally as a treatment. I started taking 400IU capsules of natural source vitamin E and within 3 or 4 months the problem was gone.
The amount of vitamin E in a multivitamin is not enough and it's usually the synthetic version which is not as effective.
Natural source vitamin E is available over the counter for about $12.00 for 100 capsules of 400IU, just ask the pharmacist to show you which type is natural source. 400IU daily is perfectly safe, if you are a big guy a higher dosage may be better, I only weighed about 135 lbs at the time. You have nothing to lose by trying it, good luck."

i tried other stuff didn't work since had is so long he thinks probably caused by injury it is not painful or does not affect sex at all he can feel the hard spot inside and said this new treatment has a great success rate he even tried the med for gout that is supposed to help but it didn't

well i did the xiaflex proceedure evidently I had a very allergic reaction to it i got home that night and got a blood bubble about the size of a dime my urologist met me at the er it was quite painful where the bubble was he lanced it after numbing it and wrapped it then early next morning about 3am i woke up in alot more pain because of the wrappings from the previous bubble i devloped a very largy one on the glans bottom side it was really giant and painful he decide put me in hospital where i was there for 3 days it finally burst on its own the 3rd day lots of blood n the bed the doctors and nurses there never seen such and was not really sure what to do other than morphine and an alergic drug I was supposed to get a 2nd injection but my urologist said he is not going to do that one after this as of now i have to change my wrappings 3 times a day til it heals it was so bruised and swollen and really bad looking from the large blood bubble looking alot better now just the spot bottom side of glans where the bubble was still looks bad soooooo all that means no sex, no blow jobs heck cant even jackoff either right now i have one thing on my mind...........SEX by time i get it weeks from now or whenever i will be climbing walls i try to keep getting erections while i heal but that is impossible especially when i wake up with a huge one every morning i am trying not to stretch that bubble spot til it heals I just hope my wife has plenty of rest til i am healed she will need it by the way will have to wait to see if the proceedure worked or not there are some stretching excercises i have to do when i am healed enough he says

getting better still will probably be another week b4 sex that is the hard part i am already climbing the walls for it so far it looks like even tho the bad reaction it did work i was supposed to have a 2nd injection but he said he is not going to do it now my penis no longer has upward curve and the curve to left is better i will have to do the stretching and bending excercises for i think he said 6 weeks that should make it even better the reaction i had is very rare according to the fda studies they did for a urologist to do this procedure he has to be trained to be allowed to do it
