  • Penis shrinkage/Loose skin

Okay, so these two things I've noticed that accompanied my ED. What's the deal with them? Would my penis ever return to its normal size if I over come ED? Would the loose skin "clear-up"?

Please advise me regarding those two characteristics and how to over come them.

    Thank you.

I would assume, from what I've read here, that by regaining full strength erections you would achieve your "normal" size. A low EQ can make it appear smaller than it actually is.

The good news is not only will PE help to address the ED, and help create better EQ, but you may also experience a bit of growth while your at it. So, that loose skin will be taken care of naturally, and may be useful in giving some room for expansion.

    You're welcome .

I'm not sure kegels and PE exercises are the solutions for me as I believe it is depression and stress that has caused a huge physiological change in my body. (I'm 30, have been unhappy all my adult life, never had a girl for one moment and spent many years been unable to get a job, hence the depression and stress.) I don't actually feel anything when I ejaculate. I'm just like a zombie with no emotion other than stress, anger and sadness/depression. I can laugh sometimes, but I can't physically laugh as long as I used to. All of these are indicating that my problems are physiological, and perhaps a bit psychological.

No man, it signifies that MOST of your problems are PSYCHOLOGICAL, and maybe a little physiological.

Why would you say that? I mean my outlook on life has changed totally. I watch old movies that I used to enjoy... and nothing. No feeling there. I ejaculate... and nothing. No feeling there. I laugh... but it genuinely only last for 2-3 seconds as opposed to the 7 plus seconds (or whatever it is, the point is I'm me laugh is genuinely shorter.)

Maybe it's time to break the negative cycle and start enjoying your life, it isn't healthy feeling this way all the time and sounds like it's having a physical impact on your health, have a read of this post by MrB8

No, I don't drink, never have and probably never will.

              I'm not on medications.

Not really sure if I want to see the doctor. I mean what will he offer? Viagra? Can't afford and rely on these for the rest of my life.

So what are you doing to deal with your depression? Do you think that going to see a doctor and therapist might help? Trust me you won't find the help that you need on the interet.

Honestly Hawar, that is exactly the reason to see a doctor, because you don't want to be dealing with this forever.

Seeing a medical doctor may, or may not yield any great answer as far as addressing the ED. But, they will be able to determine if it is a physical, or mostly mental cause. If they confirm it is not physiological, then seek a psychological answer.

From what you have said, I believe it is mostly mental, and due to the stress and issues you are going through. Don't be shy or embarrassed to seek help Hawar. You did here, and no one has judged you for it.

It shows strength to ask for help when you need it.

There are medications that can help with depression, if it's stopping you from physically leaving your home and enjoying your life, I'm not saying it's the best option, but if we need a crutch while our leg is broke so be it, just put it down when your healed and don't rely on it forever.

I have experienced depression many times, when angry I go and beat the crap out of my punch-bags, or physically do something to channel these feelings away from self hatred, once I'm fully vented I move on. Exercise definitely helps get mental clarity.

Why not give the PE exercises a go, just make them part of your day to day life, it might not happen immediately, but when your body starts responding positively you will start to look forward to your routine, it's a first step that you can take for yourself - to improve yourself.

Start making changes, you can do it if you start to believe it!

Before you go and see a Doc who going to prescribe you potentially harmful ssri medications, it's important you understand there are safer alternatives.
For one i have suffered with depression for years and beileve me i know that hole!
Can't be motivated to do anything because you feel like it's pointless and even if you did, it's not going to workout.
                      (Sound familiar)
SSRI (anti-depression meds) affect the serotonin, one of the active compounds that affect mood, sociability, appetite, sex drive ect...
And a lot of people have benefited from a natural alternative called 5 HTP, as it is precursor to Serotonin that can pass the blood brain barrier.
Also (and thins is something i find very odd) Dopamine can be a huge factor in your over all mental well being, yet for some strange reason there really aren't any medications prescribed for it.
But guess what, there is a natural alternative called L-DOPA, it comes from the mucuna pruriens seed, and it is a precursor to DOPAMINE!
IT passes the blood brain barrier as well, but it's got to be stacked with EGCG (green tea extract) because it need a decarboxylase inhibitor, or you can just drink green tea!
Any ways the point i'm trying to make is there are alternatives to the way you are feeling, wether it be medication, natural meds, meditation , getting a JOB!
Dude, you have no idea of the dramatic psychological effect getting a job and actually having money in your pocket can do for your mental health, even if you hate the work, you will most deffinitely feel better about your self, pluslike you mentioned, eventually you'll get out, find a place, find a girl, and finally get laid man!
Not to mention this is the perfect time, because by the time shit is ready for a girl to come into your life, if you've been PE'ing for that duartion, you will have made some nice gains, and you'll feel much more confident about getting it in!
Also, i forgot to mention, exercise, running in particular, i know you lift weights, bit running can have a major affectt on the release on of endorphins and other feel good chemicals!
Hope this helps man, but it's going to have to be you that looks for the change and makes it happen!
If you've been depressed for years you should have already been looking into the things i just wrote about.
                      Good luck my friend!

Hey dinosaur bones nice idea but before you fill he head with things not to do and to not go to a doctor maybe it's better to go to a doc and at least get a diagnosis of what the problem is. Oh yes he can be suffering from depression but there may be other things that do cause the same symptoms that can be very serious. Let someone trained figure out what the issue is; as for treatment well that can be discussed later!

Yeah, I am on 5HTP but on and off as I believe certain types have reduced the amount of sperm I ejaculate.

I'm also experimenting with L-Phenylalanine as I believe it helps with the dopamine.

However, there are so many pills out there that I'm really not sure which ones to take.At the moment I'm on the 2nd month with L-Phenylalanine. I THINK I noticed a slight improvement of mood.

                          getting a JOB!

Oh, I do have a job now. Have had a job for just over a year now, broke my 7 year duck which started when I was 23, basically that's the reason why I'm stuck in this rut now. Ruind my life, that long spell.

I certainly did feel better about it, but there are still other obstacles in my way, ED is probably the number one. The job is important to me but it has added more stress to my life. Anywya, better with it than without it.

And yeah, I'll consider running. Thanks for your help.

You know whats really good instead of 5 HTP, L-Tryptophan and L-tyrosine stack.
Here's an article- L-Tyrosine breakthrough! (DOSAGE) at Depression Cure & Alternatives Support, topic 23097
L-Phenylalanine is just a precursor to l-tyrosine so in conjunction with the l-tryptophan, in may further benefit you.

Also, i never once said he shouldn't be evaluated by a doctor.

Yeah man that's it, just one thing at a time, i don't know about you, but when im in a depressive state, i tend to allow my self to be drained by over thinking everything and trying to some how create the perfect last step, mean while im so paralized by the mountain ahead of me i can't even take the first step!

Also, as far as L-Phenylalanine, Im not 100% sure whether it does or doesn't affect dopamine secretion in some way, but the l-dopa really works well and it is a direct route to boosting levels.
I'm bringing it up to you, because i always thought it was my serotonin levels that had me out of whack (that's what my doctor said) but it turns out a get a lot more benefit from the increase in dopamine.

So, should I combine my l-phenylaanine with l-tryptophan? I also use Vitamin B6.
